Ow ow ow ow ow ow... my feet. YES, I BLAME YOU, ALLISON!! Anyways...
Trick-or-treating was fun (don't you tell me I'm too old, I'll reach through this computer and give you the bitchslapping of a lifetime.) We trekked, at first, back from my school to Allison's house, which was about 40 minutes of pure unadulterated horror in my combat boots... (NEVER AGAIN!! NEXT YEAR, IT'S TENNIS SHOES NO MATTER WHAT!!)... which made it hard to move very fast when we ate dinner in 20 minutes before heading out to the streets to trick-or-treat for 2 hours straight.
Need I remind you that I was still in my combat boots? And, oh yeah, after the first twelve houses or so I pulled both my hamstrings at the same time while standing on someone's stairs. WHAT-ARE-THE-ODDS?!! @__@;; I didn't think so.
Well, after all that I was lugging about six pounds of candy, as promised, so I suppose the pain was all worthwhile. For the most part; then, scaring the spit out of Kristine Wong every few houses (which made me laugh till I hurt, by the way) ALSO contributed to the "this isn't so bad" state of being I was in.
My feet are still in terrible pain (WHY DID HALLOWEEN HAVE TO BE ON A TUESDAY?!! IT SHOULD NEVER BE ON A TUESDAY!!), I found a blister when I took off my shoes, but I'm actually looking forward to next year. Maybe we can even throw a party, who knows?
Anyway, I'm in the middle of being shot-down by publishers for a very important project, so... 'ta! *insert grimmace-slash-smile here*
