the building is burning floor by floor
i'm stuck at the top fore locked is the door
i sit all alone as it slowly gets warm
'cause in me a hole this fire has torn
i'm writing a letter to be read
but do not worry for i'm not dead
lifeless not, but hurt i may be
for this fire burns bright, bright within me
there are people all around as i burn in my world
they do not see i'm in the corner curled
now crowed by people but to me they're just air
fore if they were with me help would be there
caughing from the smoke i drop to the floor
all alone my voice leaves through the door
staring at the ceiling alone i lie
but my voice is gone so i do not cry
now the fire moves away from the door
but still there i lie alone on the floor
fore to leave loneliness would have to be the key
or could i walk away with this fire still burning in me??
