Today was a pretty.. interesting trip to the store. In fact, I shall act it out for you in first person. Now, now, I want you all to remember. Violet = Other People Red = Me
Today - I walked down the street to the store, my hands shoved into my pockets while my converse squeaked along. I was singing 'Crawling Towards the Sun' by The Hush Sound when I entered the store. I was dressed in a pair of jeans and a simple black tee, black hoodie to keep me warm.
All of a sudden four girls approached and exclaimed, "Like, what the heck are you doing?!"
I blinked absently and stared at them. "Do I know you?" I asked, the song still playing in my head. I slipped my hands out of my pockets, ready to give 'em a good punch in the shoulder before running off.
"You don't know me!" "Me either!" Definitely not me!" "Um, I think I saw you at school."
All the girls stared at her, gaping. "Like, you hang out with these depressed emos?" They scoffed in turn, flipping their hair.
Not exactly appreciating being called 'emo' I raised my hand. "You know, I'm standing right here. Not emo." I pointed to myself with a frown.
"Yeah, whatever," one of the girls snapped and shoved her hand in front of my face. "Talk to the hand." The girls cackled in unison and made some women walk towards the other end of the store.
"Right, would you just let me through so I can get some food?"
"Wait a minute, we need to clear something up." They all cleared their throats, their eyelashes flitting as they held their dumbass chins with pride as if they were royalty. "Do you know this loser?" they asked the girl who had spoken up earlier.
Glaring at them, I tried to shove my way through but they stopped me with their own icy glare.
The other girl answered with a sheepish shrug of her shoulders. "Well, I said hi to her once at school in the halls, I think. Right?" The girl looked at me curiously.
"I don't know. I say hi to a lot of people."
"Like, ehmagawd, ew!" The three shouted in unison, slapping the other girl on the shoulder. "Why would you even think about talking to a loser like her?"
"You know, technically that's really just being hypocritcal, cuz you guys talked to me too."
"Oh yeah, when?"
"Just now."
Scoffing in turn once more, they looked at each other with disgusted, pinched up faces. "That is soooooo gross. I can't believe we just did that!" The four girls fanned themselves with their hands as if being around me was actually going to make them normal.
"Yeah, can I go buy some food now?"
"Don't talk to us you weirdo! We're not freaky emo people like you!" They ran off as best they could in their 5-inch heels and miniskirts, whining that their feet hurt from standing so long and that they would freeze their butts off if somebody's dad didn't pick them up soon. They looked like emu's to me.
I just gave 'em the middle finger and grabbed a few muffins and cookies, payed for them, and took 'em back home to munch on.
Those girls creeped me out and that conversation was pretty word-for-word too, seeing it just happened. Now I've decided to stay away from that market and go the the other one, which doesn't look that great, but still has great food. They'll probably think it's too 'poor' for their taste and run their snooty asses off elswhere. Anyways, just wanted to share that moment with you all. That ever happens to you, let me now ^^
