LOVE

Strong arms holding me. Warm, soft, safe. So much love it hurts.
I want to cry for happiness. I want to laugh. I want to stay here forever.
I want to feel like this always.
Soft kisses, full of love, full of want. Raining down on my face,
on my neck. Kiss my lips. So soft. I love you. My heart swells and
a tear rolls down my face. It's wonderful to love this much.
This is perfect, don't leave, don't change. I love you I love you
I love you. I need to say it. I need to hear it. A small smile against
your shoulder. A whispered sweet dreams. I never want this moment to end.
Watching your face in sleep. So peaceful, so beautiful. Caress your soft cheek.
Kiss you softly. Hold you tight, I'll never let go. I'll never look away.
It's perfection this time we have. Our actions flash before me and my heart aches
to simply meld with yours. Please say I'm your only world, because I could live here forever.

More than a heart could take.

"I don't want you to go." Tears cascaded down her face as she held tightly to her love.
"It's too dangerous for you to be with me. I don't want to go either, but I don't want you to get hurt because of me." His eyes filled with unshed tears. He didn't want to cry in front of her. He pulled her from him and gently caressed her face, wiping away some tears. "I love you, and I will come back for you. Once I find a place for us to be safe."
She choked up, sobbing. "Please! Take me with you! I'll die here without you!" He pulled her to him again holding her.
"Just wait for me. Look out your window every night. Look at the stars and think of me. The stars are always shining even if you can't see them. Just as my love for you will burn brightly in my soul, even when we are apart." With that, her lover kissed her lips and disappeared into the night. "Deonta!" she called out his name. The wind it seemed whispered back to her. "...wait for me..."

This one sort of goes with the one above here. I didn't write this one, but I just found it on a comment on DA. The original author wasn't cited there so I don't know who wrote it. It just seemed to fit with what I'd written about my characters.

Nothing

Standing in this night I sense,
The others around
Waiting and tense.
They're sitting on the ground,
And looking to the sky.
All wondering the same,
If Nothing is the end to all, then why
Must we live out this game?

Searching the star strewn sky
Just to see if there's another reason why.
Another reason for this pretense,
Of believing in something more
When really we sense.
Deep down we really know,
There's nothing waiting up there.

Soul Mates

Clear skies and open meadows,
Dancing lights outside the windows.
The Moon watching the scene,
Of two souls mingling in the house;
Asking, “What does it mean,
This joining from lover to spouse?”
The souls glowing together,
And slowly melding,
Becoming one Forever.

The now joined souls rise,
Taking to the clear night skies.
The human shells are left below,
And now the Moon knows
Just what she witnessed.
Two halves of one soul,
Finally met and became whole.
