Kairi has wavy hot pink hair with short bangs that frame an innocent baby face. Tied back with a lucky piece of thin yellow ribbon, that hair sets her apart from the crowd, but not apart from the girls from the world of anime; a world that is her secret obsession. Alienation the hair started is highlighted by the rare combination of her childish face and her curvy, 'adult' body. She often carries small plushies, usually feline or bees, part of her obsession. Kairi is always thought of as 'the cute Hattori' and never 'the hott one' because of the differences in the way she and Aiyu carry themselves. Her outfits are cute forms of existing style categories, and often range from Lolita to J-pop, to punk, slightly preppy, and J-rock, sometimes with various kinds of Goth mixed in. Despite having pale skin, she rarely sunburns.
Personality: Kairi is seke. Or more appropriately, half seme, half uke. Bipolar, a Zodiac's Horse, and Gemini to boot, it's very difficult for someone not accustomed to the deceptively older Hattori to discover what she wants. Generally shy about certain things and randomly too open about others, Kairi is trusting to a fault, without realizing so. The subject of romance is definitely a shy matter. She is utterly terrified of confessing her love to anyone, though she gets countless confessions from total strangers that she forces herself to turn down daily. Kairi's heart may 'hang on her sleeve' as both her signs suggest, but there are differences between crushes and love. She may find herself attracted to others, but when she loves, it runs deep. It's not that Kairi can't commit. She may be deeply committed to someone, and you might have no clue. The reason she's terrified of anything more than light hints concerning someone she cares about, may seem trivial. It runs back to a childhood friend that she confessed to when she was eight. That friend had been closer to her than even her cousin Aiyu. He hit her jarringly across the face, leaving two harsh bruises in his anger, screamed at her for two hours, and ran off with the kind of yell that only an eight year old boy could manage..Because of this, she can't confess. Kairi is horrified of ruining friendships, of which she has precious few. She has a keen mind but also has a powerful urge to procrastinate. It may take something special to hold her interests and motivation. She is prone to fits of laziness and depression. Kairi also spends over half of her energy each day trying to wake up. Unless, she doesn't have school. Despite her apparent naiveté, Kairi as actually quite perverted. She became addicted to looking at hentai when she was eleven, thanks to some older friends of hers who had mentioned the word casually. As mentioned before, she has considerable difficulty finding real friends. Many people have pretended to be her friends and never been there when she needed them. She is insanely loyal to the few friends she has, some of which she has only met online.
