in todays society, it isnt enough to love someone with all of your heart. it isnt enough to send them flowers when they are sick, or just randomly show up at their door when they feel like shooting themselves in head. no, you have to do much more to win someones affection. sexual intimacy has stepped in as the new form of love. and i dont get it. i just dont understand why someone should have to have sex with the person they love, just to prove it. in my opinion, the person who says "if you really love me, you'll give me head" or something, doesnt even care for the person they are with. momentary satisfaction is all those assholes want. i dont want to sound conservative or anything, but i just think that sexual intimacy like this should NOT be put in the place of true love.
on a lighter note, since i am listening to Sweet Dreams [original, by the Eurthymics], i thought i would inform you all on somethings doing with my writing. i have begun to write a tale of lycan's [like i haven't done that before. T__T] but, it is quite different. it takes place here in Monterey, but in 10 years, and after a giant, evil fire destroyed the city. oh yes, i have HIGH hopes for this city, i really, REALLY do.
also, having more to do with this song, does any one have a stock image of someone laying on an operating table? because i cant seem to find one that suits my needs. whatever. toodles.
