Democratically speaking, I think what you are right now is fine. But to make yourself more ACCEPTABLE, or more ADDICTIVE, to make your work A SIGNATURE OF ITS OWN here are a few of my tips.
- Right now, don't bother trying to hone skill. Instead try doing as many different things as possible. Loosen up, broaden.

*Contort your figures more
*Exaggerate a million different things on a figure to see what you like.
*Experiment with flash creators.
*Let people fill in your word bubbles themselves.
*MORE VECT heart RS
*Make loud statements [if and only if this suits you. If you want your work to be more of an advertised, bought and sold statement and less of an undefined art]
- Use a wider color palette. Yes, we all love the 'hot' markers that come in those plastic art briefcases but...
- Sell cigarettes to children. Seriously. Also, mark your territory on something that everyone will see, and use, and get used to. Find an up and coming community to stick your work on to.
-Let me use your camera so I can take a good photo of this piece, so I may sell it.
-Lets toss some comics back and fourth. Take turns drawing, inking, coloring.
There is always the finest age old method of 'getting out there'...
Pay someone [under the table if possible] to display your art in a public space. It's not as counter intuitive as you may think.
