The Disappearance of Sahara's Family
"Well Jadzia it happened like this." Said Sahara as she was recalling the day her whole family disappeared. "Do you remember that nice looking young elf that I was dating Jadzia?" Sahara had asked. Jadzia replied back stating that she could not recall his name but remembered his gentle expression on his face and how she could not understand how someone as nice as him could hurt her best friend so bad. "Sahara I kind of remember what he looked like but I can't remember his name. Do you think you could tell me his name for me?" Jadzia had asked. "His name was Jarvis." Sahara had said. "He had come over to try to win my heart back and found me in the woods picking some wild berries for dessert and when I wouldn't take him back he was very upset and quickly jumped to thinking that there was another man in my life, which there wasn't and still isn’t. He then quickly stormed off to the road and headed toward the palace which I thought was strange but I did not think much of it and got back to picking berries. I then heard soldiers on horses in the distant and ran to the edge of the forest but stayed out of site to see what was going on and guess who was leading them?" Sahara had asked. "It was Jarvis, he was in the lead. I do not know what he had told them but they stormed into my family’s home and took everyone. I caught one of my brother’s eyes and he gave me a reassuring smile then looked at the rest of my family and told them something. I know what he told them, he told them that I was safe and out of harm for now. Then I watched one of the soldiers kick him and tell him to shut up. I was about to run out of hiding but they were back on their horses and towing my family behind them." When Sahara had finished Jadzia looked at her and asked “Do you mean to tell me you haven’t heard a word about your family since they were taken?” “Yes Jadzia that is exactly what I mean.” Sahara was almost in tears as she was answering Jadzia’s question. “I need to go and get them out of their but without the help of anyone from there to help me locate them it’s like I’d be going into a bee hive blind as a bat.” Once Sahara was done talking, her and Jadzia heard two horses stopping outside of her home and heard feet hit the ground as soon as they got off the horses backs. They heard two men out front talking to one another but couldn’t hear exactly what they were saying. Then the footsteps at that time had reached Sahara’s front door and then everything was quiet. Then there was a very polite knocking at the door. Sahara quickly straightened her hair out and tried to knock the wrinkles out of her dress before she answered the door. Jadzia was doing the same thing. Then once they were done they both headed to the door and Sahara slowly reached out to turn the doorknob. She was starting to shake as she turned the knob. She wasn’t use to having men come to her door and knock politely unless it was her brothers’ friends but they didn’t knock that quiet. She opened the door and there on her doorstep were the two men from this morning.
