Today was the District Orchestra Festival. That's when all the string players in the village get together and we have a huge concert. Today's concert was really good; it went really well. It started with the 4th graders, who played the same old songs they always do, they did pretty good though. Then came the 5th and 6th graders, they played well, and they played this one piece with claps, stomps and cello/bass turns, it was really wierd, but they did really well; GO RACHEL heart . Then the 7th and 8h graders played, they played a cake walk and an Aladen medly, they did pretty good. Then, finally came us; Symphony and String Orchestras and Wind Ensomble. We played the last two movements of "Pictures of an Exibition". I think we did pretty good. Then came this years Festival Piece, "Marche Slave". It went pretty well. This year was a success, but it's sad, it was my 6th Orchestra Festival, only three more left...
Thanks for reading,
heart Alex
