A lonely panther surveys the scene,
Panther, panther so serene.
Running 'cross the lonely plain
I certainly hope it doesn't rain.
Like all great cats, panthers say water is no fun.
For all the struggles of the great cat,
Only serve to illustrate that,
One life we have to live and get it right,
Like those bugs that die after one steamy night.
So laugh, be merry, panthers allow yourselves to run.
Don't listen to a word I say,
At any other time yes, but not today.
Yes, yes, listen to me...but not today.
