Leo and Justin glared at each other with both hands curled up into fists in front of them. Leo slightly turned his foot, ready for action and smirked. Justin just stood there waiting for Leo to move. After no one moved Justin came at Leo with a punch towards his's chest. Leo pushed his hand away and turned his body for a round house to Justin's side. Justin quickly leaped back and slid. Just then Leo rushed towards Justin and jump kicked him, landing a blow to his gut. Leo mid-air axe-kicked Justin down to the floor. As Leo landed Justin tripped him onto his back, when Leo hit the ground, Justin elbowed him in his spine. Leo lifted his head with a cry of pain. As Justin was knelt down with his elbow in Leo's spine, Leo swung his arm at Justin and hit him in the jaw. As Justin fell back he caught his balance and grabbed Leo's arm and tossed him up into the air. Justin jumped up and grabbed his arm and spun him around and threw him back down. As Leo fell he gained control of the fall so he could land on his feet. When he landed Leo jumped up to grabbed both of Justin's arms, then he turn up-side-down and flung him to the floor Justin couldn't stop himself in time and turned enough to only land on his arm. The battle lasted for an hour, but in the end Leo finished it off with a blow to the rib. Justin fell and couldn't go on much further.
Leo said” You fought a good battle but in the end, I couldn't lose."
Later that day when Leo was at lunch a new girl came by; she looked like she was sad. The girl sat down and stared at the food on the trays, her mouth watered.
Leo looked at her body,"shes skinnier than the hilt of my sword.” Leo thought. He looked down and reached into his pockets and pulled out his wallet. Leo reached in and pulled out 2 zill. (Zill is money in their world) He then walked over to the girl and asked her if she was hungry.
"U...um...yes.” the girl replied.
"Here take this so you can get something to eat. By the way, my names Leo Lionclaw, whats your name.” said Leo.
"I'm, Um...Lyne… Lyne Sorrie. But do you really mean to give this to Me.” replied Lyne.
“Yes I do.” said Leo. Lyne looked kind of happy and thanked Leo and walked off. Leo thought to himself for a while, “ She may be a sad girl but I'll fix that. After all she is pretty cute."
Later that day while Leo was in his room and heard a knock on his door. Leo went to answer it. When he opened it he was surprised to see who was there. Lyne came to ask him if she could help him with anything he needed. Leo asked her why.
"Because you helped me with my problem so I wanted do the same.” she answered.
"That’s alright, realy but I don't want you to do anything for Me.” replied Leo.
"But I must. I don't want you to think of me as a free loader..."
"Look I don’t' think anything bad of you” Leo interrupted.
"Please I'll do anything to help you." Lyne cried.
"All I did was give you money for lunch, why do you insist on helping me so badly?” asked Leo.
"Well...because...no one has ever been nice to me before...and I've always been alone for a long time. So when you gave me the money I thought you where my friend and friends do things for eachother." Lyne answered. The second she finished her sentence Leo said he knows how she feels.
" When I was young, I too was alone. My family was killed, and the one who killed them left me to suffer and struggle on my own.”
“ That's awful.” She said. “ How did you manage to survive?” Lyne asked
Leo replied, “ I stayed at a bunch of different fighting and sword schools for about three years. Then I stayed here ever since I heard how much stronger I could become here.” Lyne grabbed his hands and looked into his eyes. Leo could feel the warmth of her soft smooth hands against his own.
“ You want revenge on that person, don’t you?” Lyne asked. Leo was about to answer but the bell rang for sixth period.
“ Oh! Sorry I have to go.” Lyne said as she ran out of the room. Leo got up and walked to his next class.
