I haven't made a dream avatar in a long time, so today I went crazy with the stuff and made this:
She's beautiful, isn't she? Too bad that outfit costs like, a million gold, otherwise I would have bought it.
Hmm. *wanders off to look in inventory storage box* *headdesks* Crap, it's full of Labu necklaces and fireworks! I thought I had something to actually invest in! Utter frickin crap. I'd play the exchange, but I always end up losing money. So now what? I guess I'll just sell stuff. Fun. I bet I still won't have enough money afterwards. Stupid laurels. Lates.

Okay I'm going with the MSN dream dictionary and trying to decipher my dream
Marriage: Quote: If the dreamer is a guest at someone else's wedding, the success of a long-term goal may depend on others.
Analysis: My debate credit, my story...
Mother: Quote: If your relationship with your mother is or was good, you can expect happy times ahead. But if it was strained, someone may try to coerce you into doing something by pointing out things that he or she has done for you.
Analysis: My mom and I usually have a good relationship, but last night we has an argument. We seem to be having a lot more than usual these days.
Church analysis: Nothing was said about seeing the word 'church', so I'm guessing my dreams are just too strange.
Blue: Quote: Enlightenment. Insight. Relief from worry. Assistance from outside sources.
Analysis: Refering up to my debate credit that is on the line, I think I'm getting on to something here.
Door: *in place of portal*: Quote: 1. A passage to a new phase in life, such as childhood to adolescence, or single to married. 2. A new opportunity on the way. 3. Revelation, either personal, spiritual, or universal.
Analysis: Opportunity: maybe with my story. Revelation: Maybe 'church' had something to do with it.
Death: Quote: [1. An imminent transition, perhaps a move, or change of job or lover. 2. An impending death in the world of the dreamer—usually a relative, friend, or admired public figure. The dreamer's death, however, is never shown. 3. The need for change in some department of the dreamer's life. As to what: Watch for other symbols in the dream.
Anaysis: Oh. s**t.
Total dream analysis: I'm going with my debate credit theory for a few reasons, whic I feel don't need to be talked about. But anyway. Analysis. My debate credit is on the line, and my colleague can't make it to a tournament this weekend. That's bugging me. But apparently according to this It'll be okay.
Also, there's a dance coming up. I have a blue dress. Maybe I'll get lucky and snag a boyfriend. I can always hope.

You know the thing about how people can't die in their dreams? Well, I've had my first ever dream about that sort of thing. And well... I'm a bit jumpy.
So I'm writing it down. This thing has plagued my thoughts for 15 minutes. So plague me no more, evil dream!
Okay so first, I was at this basketball game with my family where little kids were playing and they were throwing balls at each other. We left and went to a wedding reception. (At least, that's what it was called in the dream.)
It was really strange because every girl there was wearing a renaissance-esque dress and watching tv. People left every so often to go get food.
So finally I go over there. Not necessarily to get food, you know. But anyway, I found this boom box and decided to plug it in so it would play music. All of this music was mostly a woman and a man talking about things, oh yeah, they did a bit of singing too. But it was mostly talking.
Then I go back to the room where the tv was and I see my mom chatting on her cell phone to someone saying, "Oh yeah. Nothing on tv and they decide to watch 'The Blue Dress'." (Apparently the name of the mivie that was on... I think it was Disney. xd )
"Well I played the Pendragon theme, but that was the closest I got to Sci-fi." (The Pendragon books are the books about that kid who goes all over the universe.) "
"The gateway is open."
And then all of the sudden this black and purple portal thingy on the other side of the room opens. As I walk over, I notice some words marked somewhat inside the portal, floating in midair I guess. I'm not quite sure what the sentance said, but it must have been important.
All of the sudden I was flying through the portal and all of these words were rushing at me, "death" and "church" were the only ones that I could remember.
Then there was a thunderclap. And what seemed like a brief flash of this skeleton in dark robes, holding a scythe.
Then I woke up.
I don't know what I'm doing now. Maybe I'll go decipher this dream with some dictionary, and then contemplate what this means in my life.

You remember my beloved seal slippers? Of course you do. I had a massive quest and bought them about a year ago. Well, yesterday I was looking longingly at those winged anklets again, thinking about their benefits vs. the seal slippers. And here's what I came up with:
heart They are shiny and have wings. heart They can be worn as shoes heart They can be worn with shoes. heart I like them a lot more than seal slippers.
So with those four reasons, I set out, sold my slippers for 270k, made up the 18k difference, and bought them.
Now. I'm poor again. T___T
Oh well, who cares when the battle system comes out? I have my anklets!

HOLY FREAKING COW. I made it to level 82 on the Word Bump game before dying!
!!!!!
I mean, whoa. It was hard. And it took a long time, like 1 1/2 hours.
But, anyway. I was on level 77 and my brother came in and was like, "You're needed." And I'm practically screaming at him, "NOT NOW! NOT NOW!" And he's like, "Yes now."
So I finally get through the level and turn to him to see what he wants.
"Can we make brownies?"
NO. WE CANNOT MAKE BROWNIES RIGHT NOW. I HAVE SPENT THE LAST HOUR AND A HALF GETTING THIS FAR. SO STFU. scream scream scream
But yeah. I got to level 82 before my brain short circuited. Woo. Go me.
...And in other news: I hit the 50k gold mark today! *parties* Heck no, I'm not going to spend it. I'm saving it for the quest/battle system/impulse buys.
OKAY BROTHER. WE CAN MAKE BROWNIES NOW.

Username Changes and Other Things |

Yeah, I changed my username 2-3 weeks ago and it just now occured to me to record it in my journal of Gaian-related rants and stuff. I like it, but it's sort of like a shoe that doesn't quite fit yet. Given more time, I'll get used to it.
And now on to other things.
Inflation has gone up. (Sealeds: 9k+. Can afford them but it's not worth the risk.)
New layout: I had just gotten used to the other layout, but this one is like the other one was at first, a tad confusing. But I found a short cut! *happy dance* That little arrow thingy under your usernames will take you everywhere important, exempting shops and Towns. Well, you can't have everything. I rather like the new layout, so don't think I'm being a drama llama and whining about it. (By the way, the new icons are neat!)
New profiles: Have they come out yet? I honestly don't know.
Battle System, Class System, Some other System: Might be coming at the end of the year. I cross my fingers and hope for the best.
Halloween: A long way away. I hope we get a plot update before then.
And that concludes my Gaia Commentary for now. ^^
