Chapter IV: A Royal Rendezvous

After the demon left, Rapid was left there with the cops, astounded. Rapid looked at the ground an then ran toward the hotel resort. When Rapid arrived, Sadia immidiately stood up to greet him. "What was all that energy back there?" Sadia inquired. "Something bad, composed of pure negative chaos....definitely" Rapid answered. "Shall we leave?" Sadia asked once more. "At once" Rapid began "We need to get to Yoko's house". "Alright" Sadia agreed "Mina, Matt, we gotta go!". "Why?" the pair questioned. "I don't know" Sadia said looking at Rapid. After packing, the pair got back to the apartment complex in which the owned some property, they left their things and headed for Yoko the Cat's house. The trip only took a couple seconds due to the abilities of the group. "Requesting Entrance" Rapid said to the gate "Rapid the Hedgehog". "Access Denied" the gate sounded. "What?" Rapid said. "Watch it!" Sadia shouted as he electrocuted a strange creature attempting to assault them. "Dang it" Rapid said to himself. "Hey" a voice said over the palace intercom "Rapid, some weird dude is trying to steal my emerald, get here as fast as ya can 'k?". "That guy" Rapid said "He's after the emeralds for some reason". "I see" Sadia realized "Was he the one you talked about at the apartment?". "Yes" Rapid answered. Matt stepped foward "While you blokes were talking, I opened the gate". "Uh, thanks" the rest of the party said. The party advanced through the palace, evading traps and obstacles set by the demon. When the finally reached the throneroom, there was a switch puzzle of three. "It looks like three of us have to stay here" Matt remarked. "Rapid, you go" Sadia offered. "Cool" Rapid replied. Rapid advanced forth, alone. He saw Blaze, Yoko, and the demon fighting. "Look who's here" the demon sneered. "Alright!" Yoko shouted. "Good" Blaze sighed. Rapid ran to the side of the Cat sisters "So, it seems you want the emeralds, correct?". "That's half of it" the demon announced "You see, they are also keys". "To what?" Blaze questioned. "My rule!!!!" professed the demon. "Sorry" Rapid apologized "I'm afraid we cannot help you there". "You....WILL!!!! the demon fired a blast. "NO!!!!" Rapid countered the attack. "Fine" the demon said fading away once more "Don't say I gave you a chance". "Coward" Yoko observed.

Chapter III: A Brief Brawl

A young hedgehog was relaxing on the resort beach that very same day. His name was Rapid. "Nice day" he thought to himself. "Yo" another hedghog said to Rapid "You want a rootbeer?". "No Sadia" Rapid replied. "Suit Yourself" Sadia said as he lied down. By Rapid was a portable mecha igloo, in it was Matt the Fox. "I love cheetoes" he thought. "Rapid-kun" a voice asked "Are you okay?". Rapid replied "Yeah Mina" "Thanks for taking us here". Mina smiled. Then Rapid heard Gunshots, and he immidiately stood up. "I'll be right back he said. "Okay" the others replied. Rapid ran to the scene of which the gunshots were heard and jumped on a police car, Sonic Style. "So, are you the reason i'm hearing this commotion?" he said angrily. One cop said "Oh! It's a renegade" "Rapid the hedgehog!". The one Rapid spoke to was the demon, the demon laughed. "Is this your hero?" the demon said to the cops. "Hero?" Rapid said "I see, so you destroyed that store?". "Yes, and I got this emerald too". "You're scum!!!" Rapid shouted. "No, you are" the demon fired a blast at Rapid. Rapid deflected the blast. "Gah!!!!!" Rapid fired a Solar Flare and jumped toward the demon. The demon delivered a puch, Rapid blocked. Rapid delivered an eagle kick to the demon, sending him face first into the ground. Rapid landed on the concrete. "Ugh" the demon was injured "This is not needed". The demon faded away. "Where did he go?" Rapid thought aloud.

Chapter II: Havoc

The demonic figure took a trail, apparently it was a train tracks. The train wasn't running that day however, so it took a couple hours for him to arrive in station square. "It is different" the figure thought "It must have been ages since my last battle". The figure noticed a jewelry shop, and started toward it. "A-A-A Chaos Emerald" it said. Then it smiled a smile so evil, even the grinch couldn't compete. When the figure walked inside. He asked for the emerald. The clerk said "Not for sale". "Give it" the figured demanded. "No" the clerk said. "I'll have to take it by force then" the figured shouted angrily. "Night Shade!!!" it shouted as the store was destroyed by an unknown type of force. After the dust cleared, all that remained was the demon with a chaos emerald in hand. "Fear me!" it shouted. "You!!!" a voice shouted via a microphone "Come out with your hands up!". The demon noticed the police, and started waling toward them. "Y-you! Stop!" the voice shouted "Or we'll shoot!". The demon failed to comply. "Fire!!!!" The voice said as bullets rained on the demon. After the frenzy of bullets, the demon was still standing, unharmed. "Fall back!" it said "It's unaffected!".

Chapter I: Awakening

On the planet earth, technology has grown rapidly. Televisions here and there, computers now pocket sized, everything is now moving in the fast lane. Yet, no one really pays attention to warnings, surroundings, or legends anymore. Society is way too lax. This, will prove it's weakness, against the evil.....that has awakened.
Near Mystic Ruins, there lies a a hidden cave. In it, is a tablet. The tablet reads in Chaotican "Any adventurer of thy kingdom, thou shall not touch this ruin, or a hellish fate awaits ye". But, a stupid adventurer fails to heed the warning...and does anyway. "Hmm?" the adventurer gasped. The tablet glowed white, then a deep purple. It broke, and out of it came a creature similar to a hedgehog, (No, it's not Nazo). "Thank you" it said with Orchid eyes. "W-what?" the adventurer gasped once more. "If you were smart, you would've done as the tablet said" the demonic figure began "But, thanks anyway". The demonic figure walked up to the adventurer. "Die" it said as it obliverated the adventurer. The figure stretched and walked out of the ruin.
"Where the hell am I?" it said. "The echidna territory?" it thought "No, it's in ruin now". The figure laughed "What year is it?. The figure smiled and headed towards the city.

Prologue: There once was a set of items. Seven items in all there were, one for each and every gem that accompanied them. One was to Protect, one was to heal, one was of knowledge, one was for strength, one was to ward off evil, one was for flight and one was for sentence. Many years ago, the Mahallan forerunners of great had discovered the items. They were in great joy. The empire flourished, but then a demon stole them away and brought darkness over the land. Evil ruled many years after, but then a group of adventurers crossed perilous territory and overcame many travels and reclaimed the items. One adventurer defeated the demon and sealed him away forever........or so it was thought.
