Officer Crudge once trusted Gahchet to make a device to bring city hall into the future with his inventions. That was when Crudge was the head of the city hall police force... Gahchet messed up something in his work and caused the tech in city hall to blow up taking city hall down and blowing off Crudge's arm. Crudge was then demoted to a patrol officer and was discraced for trusting a child with city hall preperations.
Since then Officer Crudge has been on Gahchet's tail harrasing him try to get him booked for just walking down the street, even going so far as to hire people to take the inventor out or setting him up to be arrested.
