All right, i'm thinking of writing a fantasy story and this is what i've got. The title's called dArkangel and it starts off in a dream, so if it doesn't make sense or sounds stupid, i'm sorry. sweatdrop It's kinda embarrassing though, but i thought: what the heck, why not give it a shot?! So here i am, writing down things that comes across my mind, but hey, it's just for fun, so it doesn't really matter if i totally screw up on this. I'm planning on writing each chapter separately, so don't be confused or something. Oh, and please comment. I wanna know what your thoughts are about this.^_^ All right, here goes...!
"Evacuate everyone immediately!" Elder instructed the professors. I was puzzled. What's going on? Why was everyone in such a panic? Raging fire flared in front of me and I jumped back in surprise. Dead trees and plants suddenly appeared around me and formed a forest that was eaten away by flames. W-where am I now? I thought frantically to myself. The dark night made it almost impossible to see and the only thing illuminating the area were the flames nudging against the scorched trees. I looked around in confusion and was horrified to find a boy with scratches and wounds leaning against a charred tree, his eyes closed. His black and silver hair was partially soaked in blood and it covered his pale face. Questions quickly raced through my mind: What happened? Is he all right? Is he dead? A child appeared sitting beside him and cried softly, her face buried in her hands. Strangely, though, I could almost feel her sadness and pain; as if her sorrow had become my own and left my heart feeling heavy and empty as well. She must have felt my presence and took off running among the trees. "H-hey! What's going on?" I called after her. I caught up and grabbed her slim arm. "No!" she shrieked. "Let me go!" "It's okay," I consoled softly. "It's okay. What's wrong?" Figuring that struggling to break free was of no use, she turned around and I saw great fear in her frightened eyes. "I-I'm scared," she managed to utter. "Everything dear to me are all destroyed. I...I don't know what to do anymore. I'm all alone a-and..." She came to a slight pause. "...and this is all your fault!!" Her soft voice had changed into a sharp shrill and her frightened eyes quickly shifted to a narrow glare. I backed away, startled with the little girl's sudden reaction towards me. The burning trees and surroundings began to eat away slowly by blackness, leaving only the child and I standing alone in the empty darkness. "You did this! You destroyed everything!" She screamed in anger. Her sharp voice echoed in the darkness, piercing my ears with grimmacing pain. The words "your" and "you" she spat out felt as if a dagger had stabbed through my heart. "Stop!" I wailed. "Why are you blaming me? It's not my fault! Stop!" I tried to shut off all the words that was echoing through my head, but it was no use. The piercing words kept swirling around me, trying to take over my mind and becoming one with my body. My head ached and I felt overwhelmed. There was nowhere to run. All I could do was helplessly watch that girl smile sinisterly as she began to fade into a blur. The solidness under my feet slowly melted away and I could feel myself falling into the vacant space of void. My last words echoed softly into the hollow blackness as I uttered them out desperately. "It's not...my...fault...."
