Many of you might find this pathetic, but then again all I can say back is bring it on, bitches!
I finally got into Dungeons and Dragons! I have been wanting to play for about six years right about now. It all started way back when I played Pokemon (It got me into Magic, that's all I can give it [bring it]) and after the games a D&D demo was starting. But because my father just want to pick me up and leave, I wans't able to stay and play, unlike Roska. Over the years I've been yearning to play, while Roska has had several campaigns. But finally now, he got me into a D&D group and I am finally able to play! It even turned out that I made a better/larger character history than Roska, who was suppose to do it a couple times before.
I now own the complete series of Desert Punk! It is an awesome series and I love it. I'm very glad I chanced it from a webcomic banner and laughed the whole time through. Now that I completed it, I hope that there is other merchandise about the series out there. A wallscroll would be killer. I OWN THIS DESERT BITCHES!!!
CNAnime is this weekend! I love going there. There is soooooo much to see and buy. Amazing costumes are worn by most. Really it's just one of the better places to go for conventions. Only if the crowds could get smaller....
And a little hint...... BOXERS OR BRIEFS, EVIL DOERS?!?!?!

Niagara Falls was an amazing trip with an amazing girlfriend. I'm glad I was on Canada's side because there was just soooo much to do. And it looked like all the Americans have is a hot air balloon on a rope. Well anyways, I guess I should start from the beginning.
Friday started with an early start, earlier than I ever do (6:30). I quick last minute check and we loaded into the car. My sister was going to Toronto to work, so we just hooked up with her the whole way. A little break in Oshawa to get gas and breakfast was a nice addition. It was also nice to walk in down town Toronto. It's just soo cool to walk there. Since I live out in the country, I don't always have the chance to walk in a city. The subway took some time too, letting my arms getting soar from lack of circulation and for holding the luggage. We ended up at the train station some time before the train was even there, so Tiff and I just sat to relax. I little snack shopping got us set for the trip. We also got into a photo booth for a few pictures. While we waited for teh developement, an older lady got her pictures done. She called us a handsome couple. That of course made us blush. The VIA rail was alright. Maybe you need the long cross-country trip to truly appreciate it.
We got into Niagara at about 11:30 with no problems. The hostel that we stayed in was just a short block away, so we were able to get into sight seeing rather quickly. With our packs in a locker, we went walking towards Clifton Hills, aka The Strip. With time on our hands, we saw the scenery and had a relaxing walk. The first thing at the Strip was the Bird Aviary. It was really nice, and I almost got crapped on a couple times. We saw Egyptian Fruit Bats and watch them get fed. They were cool, with aposeable thumbs! Lots of birds, and we were both able to feed parokeets. After this we walked back to the Hostel to get ready for the evening. A walk through the real "city" of Niagara showed empty streets, closed stores, and creepy natives. But we followed down towards the Strip, which lead to dinner. A place called Taki, a very fancy looking Japanese Restaurant. It served food that didn't quite meet the elaborate standard that the atmosphere presented. Luckily we got that out of the way and went to the real fun: The Strip at night!
There was soo much that we stayed late doing what we could! First we went on the giant Ferris Wheel, which both Tiff and I did not freak out on. She's afraid of heights and I do not like ferris wheels. But we both handled it well. Next was the Jurrasic Miniature Golf. I had a couple hole-in-ones, yet Tiff still whooped my a**. Well a pit stop at Tim's got us even. Next we walked through the Movieland Wax Museum, with a lot of really good ones. Then some games, a fun virtual space age roller coaster ride, and we called it a night. Of course we had to walk back to the Hostel. And while going back, we walked under the Rainbow Bridge and I took a piss towards America. THAT'S RIGHT, I PISSED AT YOU AMERICA!!! As soon as we got back we hit the sack and just slept away.
Well, morning took some time to get out of. After I took a shower, I went downstairs to try and find a ring that Tiff lost the night before. She forgot it in the shower and got pretty sad. So I talked to staff, put up a sign with a sketch and description, then told Tiff why I took so long for the shower. She found the ring the night before when we got back. stare She was too lazy to tell me she found it. stare But oh well. We went and had breakfast at the nearby diner and planned our day. The weather was gloomy, so moods weren't too high. We first went to the Butterfly Conservatory, which was amazing, just like before. If Tiff hadn't prodded a butterfly, I would have had a good close up. The picture was only her finger.
After the conservatory, we rode the bus route to see what was where. As we got to the end of the line, we got tickets for Cirque Niagara. I'll get into it more later. We got back to the Hostel to get all prettied up. Saturday Night was suppose to be our fancy classy night. And thusly, I chose to go to the RainForest Cafe. It was alright, but soo many families and sooooo many kids. It took a while to get seated, get our orders in, and leave. We only had two appetizers with drinks at the bar while waiting, and it took an hour. It also came to $57(Canadian) with tip. A huge jip! So we got on our way to Cirque Niagara. We got there with time to spare. The concession items were over priced, but still alright. And just like the Cafe, there were tons of kids at the show. But this show, Cirque Niagara presenting Availa, turned the night around. For those of you who don't know what Cirque Niagara is, it's a circus acrobatic act. Similar to the world renound Cirque Du Solei, Cirque Niagara showcased amazing display of the human abilities of strength, felxibility, and grace. And like all circuses, there are the clowns for comic relief. It was breath taking. I was soo glad to see it and I strongly urge everyone else to do so themselves.
The show was able to give us some energy from the dark cloud depression. It was also night again. We decided to go back to the Strip to look around. And we promptly went to the Ripley's Museum of Believe It Or Not. So much cool and wierd stuff in there! The most memorable would have to be the illusion tunnel. Pretty much you entered a room where you walk across on a metal platform with side rails. Easy enough, right? Well remember, it's Ripley's. It went straight through, which only had a turned hallway showing a slanted picture. Now in the room, it was a constantly moving cylinder of crazy colours. A few steps in and your balance is off, making you think that the room is actually spinning and you fall into the railing. You could not stand straight in that room, no matter what you did. That fun ended and we walked back to the Hostel. We passed a Starbucks and Tiff got something with caffein in it. We also looked through a Hershey Store, seeing soo much chocolate. But we didn't get any. At all. We just walked back to the Hostle and slept after bouncy bouncy.
Sunday turned out better. We got up earlier and had a good breakfast. We packed our stuff away into a locker again because we still had lots to do before getting the train back home. The first tourist thing of the day was the Journey Behind the Falls. About a half hour waiting and we actually got down to the falls. This JBtF was pretty much a platform right beside the falls, giving a full view with not as much mist. We even looked behind the falls, only seeing white/grey. We saw a Maid of the Mist, and saw that it didn't get much closer to where we are now. Also you could only really see mist, so we agreed not to go on the Maid of the Mist. We took a scenic route back to the Strip and enjoyed some plant life. We got lunch from Wendy's and had funnel cake in a little park beside the main street. We now just relaxed, taking our time. We saw some glass blowing and a wonderfull view of the falls. Once we decided to leave the Strip for one last time, we went to the White Water Walk. The rapids just down the river of the Falls (right near the Hostel) were pretty wild. We watched the rapids, and also tried to throw change in a hole in a rock that many people before threw change at. The rapids their were a Class 6, and only dare devils went at them. We just stayed and watched them. Also a storm came rolling in, so we stayed near the elevator and watched the rapids and storm. But time was ending, so we got our things from the Hostel and went for the train.
The train back was another frown upon the trip. We got there ahead of time, and customs were stopping people getting on. An Amish family got off the train. burning_eyes I never thought that they did that kind of stuff. Anways, it took a long time to get on the train. And when we got on, it was full of people that wanted to sit alone. So Tiff and I had to split up. Damn Americans not trusting each other! The train trip took even longer then the wat to Niagara. There were soo many stops. But getting into Toronto to get on the good ol' reliable GO train was much better. We had a review of the trip on the way back, and we both agreed it to be great.
It was really fun and I'm glad I was able to do it with Tiff. Now here's the best part of the trip. For both Tiffany and I, including transporation, shelter, food and entertainment, it came to just under $500 Canadian! That was amazing with soo much fun!!! Now all I have to do is pay off my Visa.......

I think that making a new entry would be good in me keeping some going out. But with soo much time, I don't know what to talk about. Let's give this a try.
I'm going to Niagara Falls this weekend with Tiff, and we get to go on the side that let's you actually see the fall's(aka Canada side)! And we are both going for just under $300(Canadian)! All we have planned so far is getting there and getting back. We get to go on the VIA rail, which is the first time I have ever gone on one. I hope it's really comfy. The only other thing that we really have planned is posibly going to see Cirque de Niagara. And to shock people, I actually wanted to go see it. burning_eyes But other than that then we'll have the usually Maid of the Mist tour, Butterfly conservatory, maybe the Winery, and going down that one main strip that has the wax museum and the dinosaur mini-put. But there's a down time with the timing of this weekend. Tiff has cramps
Tiff and I saw Pirates 2 the Saturday after it came out. It was funny, but I share the same view as many other people even before I heard about them. The ending was sooo cliffhanging that it pisses you off. And the recurring jokes from the first movie, almost seem a couple too much and grouped together at parts. Also I lost a $5 bet that there wasn't a topless seen. Damn person being a whore like that.
Last Saturday I went to my big family reunion, and it was just like the others. Telling who you are and who your parent is that would be blood relatives to them, what you've done this summer, what's your future, then playing games and a barbecue dinner. The on going joke for every year is that people need name tags.
My friend was kinda forced into a birthday party by their "questionable" girlfriend. So we went bowling on two lanes, laughed at eachother's bowling names, really laughed when the bowling ball jumped over into the other lane and get a strike. After three quick games we just toned down into playing billiards and just chatting. Most of the other people left to go to Wendy's. BAH I say! The night was good over all.
Maybe I forgot to say this in the last entry, but Tiff is living with me now. Only temporary though. It's just that some problems arouse, and her mother moved to Australia to be with her (over the net) fiance. She had no where else to go, so she's staying here until she can figure things out like apartment and schooling. And surprisingly, we haven't bitten each other's head off yet. We're having some fun.

Hmmmm, what to say what to say. Ummmmmm.......................round house kick to the head?
My weekend was pretty good. I went and played some Friday Night Magic. I got in 8th(?) place out of 13. I knew I wasn't going too far. It's just kinda fun to see what you can make on the spot. Also picking out rares is a fun thing to do. Leaving was a funny job. Me and John Barr, the tallest of the group, had to go in the back of an extended cab truck. With the space given, our knee's were to our chests and still hitting the other's knee's. And then the ceiling of the truck, we both had to duck a bit. Although it was a bit hard, it was still fun. I stayed over at Tiff's and we talked a bit.
Following was Saturady. A good chunk of the day was left to cleaning the basement and my room. We're getting ready for Tiffany to move in to our house. Luckily it didn't take the entire day to do all of the stuff we were doing. I was still able to get some downtime in. Although sleep should probably have been put in there more.
Sunday was kind of a short day. My and my mom went out and dropped some stuff around town, finishing off with me going to Tiff's. We played some magic and I, I guess you could say, abused the fast internet. We went over to the Mall and met up with Alison. She just had her last day of work at East Side Mario's, and we were able to catch her getting three cremme pies to the face on a chair. What a way to say good bye, eh?
Well we went in and saw Click. It was a good movie. A good chunk of comedy was promised with Adam Sandler. Although the movie got pretty serious as it neared the end and really got you sad. It really got to me because Sandler's character reminded me of my Dad. I should really make him watch it, just to tell him to take it slow.
The day was finished off with Ice Creame and some more moving. It's kind of sad that Alison is moving to London on Wednesday, but she'll still do good. Of course she will still come back to visit every once in a while. And of which Tiff pulled in some double dates.
Anyhoo, this week has a few things planned up ahead. But before any of that can happen, I should sleep.

Well, today I splurged a bit. I got the AFI cd decemberunderground, as I said that I was tempted to get elsewhere. But along with it, I got Three Days Grace's new One-X album. I am soo siked. I also got the Best of Samoa Joe DVD. I'm going to have fuuuun tonight. That is if some recent news brings me down.
Last night my family recent a call saying that my grandmother in Alberta is in bad health. They thought that she had a heart attack, which would be her second, and it was worse than the first. We were all tense at my house. Some harsh words were even said. It wasn't until later that we found out that she returned home, and she didn't have a heart attack. We here don't know just yet what happend. We might even take a plain ride over for all of next week to see her.
There were also some other words spoken before that. Yeah, yesterday didn't turn out to be a good day. Atleast today showed more promise.

Well today was the day of Anime North. Unforunately, I was unable to cospay at the con, but irony reared it's strange head...later in this post. But first, X-Men!!!
X3 was a great movie. Although I am not a comic book buff (which the people I went to see it with were), I thought that the movie kept it's own story going, tagging bits of the comic with it. *SPOILER*There's going to be another X-Men movie*ENDOFSPOILER* But the fun didn't start until after the movie! Throwing a bouncy ball against the theater wall, there was much comedy in throws, particularily in mine. I felt the Drunk Kid return in me (PM me to get the back story of DK)! Also, there was about an hour of trying to fix a car that's on it's deathbed. The tire had a large hole in it, two of the five screws holding on that tire were straight ********, meaning that the whole tire section would need to be replaced. The gas tank was leaking gasoline, but only when the tank moved. The oil cap (which was forgotten to be placed back on after oil was put into it that day) fell between the engine, letting steam rise out of the open hole. And worst of all, Blueline taxi service wouldn't go to Whitby!!! Yeah, that was a fun night.
I may be a geek and/or a nerd, but I have yet, in my life, to play Dungeons and Dragons. I know, woe is me! But reading a book got me surging with need to play! I was almost tempted to buy a player's handguide, but it wouldn't be good to spend $50 from a fresh paycheck before a convention. So I stuck it out, only getting some dice.
And now, to the convention! I didn't get to see as many booths as I did last year, but I did get a good look at a few large booths. This one booth, cleverly placed near the only ATM, had many shouts of salepitchs. This one girl looked pretty hot, and she was one great saleswoman. She convinced my friend Darius to buy some marble pop after a lot of innocent look's and speaking, twirling her hair without looking like a dunce, and flounced her C jugs with her shirt tucked under them. She was TOO good. I had to check under her hat to see if she had a ninja headband underneath, which just resulted in her putting the hat back on in a childish pouty manner. My GOD she was good. The swordsguy was actually able to sell his stuff in the building, and not the parking lot. Also some costumes were pretty good. A few Reno's, but none as good as myself. And yes, I am being realistic AND egotistical.
Anyways, when Tiff, Roska and I met up with Darius, I was pissed that he did cosplay with a decent ninja. I was pissed from the day before that I missed the live wrestling event at the con. GGGRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! So his strutting in and getting a picture right away made me envious. So we went into the dealer's area and I was only going to buy item's so I could cosplay in August. Well, I ended up buying a full costume and dressing into it right away.
So in the end (or, would it be after the end in this case?) I ended up cosplaying as Sarutobi Asuma! One Naruto cosplayer was pissed that I wasn't there yesterday for the Naruto photo shoot. Yup, I was still pissed that I didn't go yesterday, but that one didn't bother me. I even had one comment that Asuma was sexy sweatdrop cool And to top it off, the dealer that I bough the costume from wanted a picture of me so they could put it up on their website! Total awesomeness, and worth the money.

The way Family Guy pulled off there season finale. IT WAS JUST THE STEWIE GRIFFIN STORY CUT DOWN FOR TV SHOWING!!! Now there are two ways to look at this. On one side, they got really lazy and just through the movie in instead of making a new episode. On the other side, the planned ahead that it was going to be the finale, and put their creative juices way back when the season was just beginning.
Now this can be overseen. The thing that I'm really going to what and see and say "I told you so" will be for the season DVD set. If they throw the season finale into the DVD set, then people everywhere just wasted $35 to get a seperate disc that has everything that would be the exact same thing in a set for $60. So, this way, the rest of the episodes in the season are worth $25 altogether. Thusly, the season finale is more important then the entire season. The other thing the can do is not have the finale with the season DVD set. Then people would have to go out and waste the $35 to get the season finale that the $60 set didn't have. Although it was genious to release the finale before and have people buy it, only to find out 5 months later that the hold the season finale. But this can also piss off the masses. And that's what really grinds my gears.

Nothing can change this Animal I have Become!!!
Kick arse song. Too bad I didn't watch the premiere of the video because I was in a cable tv overload (For those of you that don't know, I live out in the boon's and I only get antenae television).
Well, it's been a week since I've had my credit card, and I've only spent under $70. I think that's an accomplishment. I could easily get it over $150 if I didn't control myself on the first night. But no, I'm just using it as an extension of my debit card. Especially on internet purchases.
Tiff is in a real stress over a big decision for her. Either stay here in Ontario, away from her family, and try to live like a full adult. OR move back to Alberta with her family, live a steady grounded life, but leaving me while doing so. So made her choice of staying in Ontario, now that plans more have been done to better have her complete education with career and keep her life on track. But now the situation comes down to this: sell some of her belongings, and shove them all at my house. sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop
Well, Anime North is this weekend. Time has come soo fast that I am unable to cosplay. But that doesn't change my mind of cosplaying the character I chose. I'll just have to do it for the august CN Anime convention. And at this convention, I could just get necessary supplies needed for the costume so that I can have it ready for August. Also I should get some anime, manga, maybe some exotic pocky. Any suggestions?
