Yeah, that's New PoT. I will watch more when they get around to it but I don't have high hopes for it.


Tenimyu has been going for a while now.... I think they're up to 25 separate musicals/concerts now.... well worth watching for the lulz.

Especially the dream lives. Dream Live 3 is probably the best to start out with, since it has subtitles... and everone likes Hyoutei. (I beg to differ. DreLi 2 featuring St. Rudolph was awesome.)

But... it's an experience just watching them.... they start out pretty bad to be honest, but as they change casts and get the hang of staging an anime like that... it's awesome! Plus you can see some backstage stuff, but that's mostly fangirl fodder. The live action movie also features the second Seigaku cast from Tenimyu.... though that's somthing you might want to avoid. Spoiler: I was pissed off that Hiyoshi was left out.

PoT is seriously awesome...it's just those first few episodes that made me want to kill myself. ( I have a ingraned dislike for Echizen). After that--- FUN.

New Prince of Tennis is just a continuation after the Nationals... but they made it Echizen-centric in the anime whereas the manga... well I haven't seen Echizen in about 20 odd chapters at least... it's getting kind of slow and tedious. Stick with the original

Also, have you seen the OVA's, Movies and most importantly..... TENIMYU?!

I love Prince of Tennis. To be honest when I first started watching it over two years ago, I didn't think I'd fall into the fandom as much as I have.

As for New Prince of Tennis... some of the funny stuff in the manga earlier on was a bit of a bonus, but I don't think much of it now. It's taking too long and the plot is being stretched out way too slowly. Also the anime infuriated me since it's Echizen-centric, which the manga is not.... which meant the plot suffered critical blows. (Whatever happened to the rest of the matches?! seriously!!)

Inui is certainly my favourite character overall... I like a lot of quirky characters from the series that you wouldn't think of ^.^

You should try One piece , gintama , FMAB , Prince of tennis , Hikaru no go , angel beats , kenichi history's strongest disciple , and baka to test. They are really good
