Reiki healing is a licensed practice in which energy healing is done by holding hands above the persons body, or connecting over a distance, and channeling reiki energy into them with the help of symbols and sometimes guides. It's used by nurses, midwives, massage therapists and many other professionals in the medical industry. I myself specialize in distance reiki healing, though I do have a practice here.
