I think it's odd if only because of Lymle... but they are cute. When I got Faize's ending it was just so sweet.

I can understand why Edge would freak out about what happened to the alternate universe/reality Earth.... but that's the thing. It was not THEIR earth. And with all these other pressing matters to attend to and the fact that he was the god damn leader.... well, the whole "We're all friends and that's the only way to bring him out of the darkness!" crap just urked me. I was glad that there was an NPC such as Eleyna who knocked sense into him.... although I would have given her extra props if she were to just kick him in the balls.

Faize didn't have much of this superiority complex so much as he had a hard-on for Edge. I mean jesus christ, he might as well just marry Edge or something based on how much he idolized this emo. Course later on he has this messiah complex but I don't want to spoil the ending for you.

I must say that Welch is the only character who appears to be far more realistic in the game >>; then again, I'm sure the creators of the game did that on purpose in order to make fun of stereotypes or what have you.

........ Don't you just despise Sarah's voice? I thought my ears were about to explode...

I spent a lot of time leveling up in that game... and it really pays off. But then again I do all the side quests XD
When you get to the third disc, be sure to make 8 funeral bouquets to raise affinity for all characters and have final scenes with them. The eighth one is reserved for when you get to the final area and that is to get a secret ending. And that Lymle and Faize have enough affinity for each other.... they're so cute together. I know Lymle is only 15-16 (according to the manual.... I have no idea why they never mention it in the game) but it's still damn creepy for that kind of pairing gonk

Although the voice actress for Lymle sounds tired confused in a bad way. Like she doesn't want to be there.

Don't you just.... want to kick Edge in the balls for being emo that time?

And Arumat is my favorite playable character.... he's like a parallel to Albel Nox. I LOVE Welch. I always go to her first every time I get a new party member to see her reaction. It seems like my favorite characters for this game is mostly NPC though... like Welch, Lightspeed Kenny, and Eleyna. Crowe is ok but.... you really don't get to know him outside of what Edge and Reimi say. I really don't get the purpose of even having him there... not to mention the whole genetic enhancing thing is so..... Star Ocean: Till the End of Time :/

UGH! Which reminds me.... Don't you just HATE HATE HATE! Deputy Director Shimada? I don't want to spoil what happens to him but.... if you hate him as much as I do, you wont feel bad about the universe coming to an end cool

Dude, I just finished Star Ocean: The Last Hope XD

It's.... an ok game.... I didn't get a sense for originality for certain things, the combat system is much more complex, leveling up is a b***h and time consuming thanks to the battle system (your best hope is to do all the side quests for experience), and it seems to be much more focused (or it encourages the player) on private actions. That is, having the main character get closer to the other party members... which is rather emphasized if you want to get ALL of the endings. Then again, that's not new since it's been there in the series. But at least you don't have to worry about having enough affinity in order to get the party character to stay in the party. SO3 had a butt load of characters and you could only keep a certain amount. SO4 you just keep them all with the exception of one in which he leaves but it's part of a plot to make him seemingly more important.

But then again I never have any high expectations for prequels to a series XP

OH! And the voice acting is s**t. Not gonna lie, it's terrible. And you will find your self despising certain characters for being too emo to the point you just want to kick them in the balls. Or just being too stereotypical (this game seems to like poking fun at certain sub-cultures of fans).

That is true indeed. I'm still looking to see if there are any job openings at the campus in the main building just so I can have some pocket money on hand.

I finished Twilight Princess XD I recommend Super Mario Galaxy. Holy s**t is that game fun. Oh and Trauma Center, that's a good game too. Sonic and the Secret Rings is pretty decent, and MAYBE Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. Although you should play Path of Radiance first which is for the GC (luckily the Wii can play Gamecube games.... but you need the GC controller to do so XD). Radiant Dawn is HARD though. And of course you gotta have Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Metroid Prime 3 is an excellent game IF you're into first person shooter.

I don't have a job yet, any openings just didn't work with my schedule because I not only had day classes but night classes as well.

I like getting my games online if finding them in stores is such a pain in the butt.... My dad had to get my Wii online because we couldn't find any. And we still can find any now XD

It's a pretty good series.... and I have also played some "knock-off" games such as Drakengard (you played it, right? I think I loaned it to you...) and Mystic Heroes.

I also heard of Eternal Sonata.
