Woah, that is one ancient microwave. Sitting idle could very well be the issue. Or its just old and dusty. Hopefully you'll get a new microwave soon.

Aw, another fail. I knew it was too epic of a way for an appliance to die. ._. That sucks though, you can't make yams the redneck way. Your going to have to use the oven for things, unless your dad buys and installs a new microwave. Tough chance that happening though.
Of course I do, I'll have to check with mem though. :3
