Well league wise, I played baseball for about 8 years, and I always play football locally when we get games together.
And while I don't get a chance to play it often, I looove playing volleyball smile

Of course it's a sport! smile
It requires strength, flexibility, balance, technique, and it has a higher risk of injury than most sports out there!
You have to devote a lot of practice and effort towards it, to perfect it, if anything, not only is it a sport, but it's harder than most sports. O:
I sure as heck couldn't do it, and not just because nobody wants to see me doing any of those stunts. lol razz

I think cheerleading is a sport, and if you ask a lot of people, they'll say the same thing. Now if you can't respect the fact that I am entitled to my own opinion, then you're a jerk.

It's not a sport, it's an activity.
And I could survive without cheerleaders at the football game. So they're just there for decoration...until they're throwing out footballs or T-shirts. Then I pretend I have spirit so they'll throw me one.
