Nevermind that it doesn't make sense that I'd be trying to keep Daddy to myself. The man barely even gets five minutes in his day for himself. With as many kids as he has, and as needy as a husband as he has, I'd have to be mentally deficient to want to try to keep him to myself. Most days, the best thing I can do for him is not be a burden. I pick up after myself, do my own laundry, take care of my school work alone, and stay out of his way, making myself one less thing that he has to worry about. If ever I'm around him, spending time with him, it's only because your Daddy doesn't understand him and I'm trying to pick up the slack.



-Sigh- Who the hell needs time to think of a list of things they like?! This is exactly why I don't understand your Daddy, he's such a freak. I can name a list of things I like, right now, off the bat in less than a minute. Pizza, purple things, dandelions, animals, the zoo, the waterpark, caramel corn, pretzels, the school fairs where we get the day off, the time of night when the whole world goes quiet, lillies, strange hats, clip on tails, glow in the dark clothes... and I'm only stopping because it seems silly to go on. I've made my point. Where as your Daddy probably has to go sit in a room with pen and paper for two hours to come up with things he likes. It's weird.



Oh, Beth-Beth. Please do, snuggle me right to death. That sounds nice. Put me in a white coffin afterwards.

Well... we asked him out again.. we've even changed into our third date clothes. Did you notice our contacts? He hasn't said yet if he'll go with us or not, but at least we asked. We even asked that he make a list of the things he likes so we could have conversation.



I don't know if Daddy is as great as you think, but even if he's not, he shouldn't have to go around crying over me forever. We'll keep trying with him. At least, we'll try until our head explodes. Once that happens, I'll be dead and I won't be able to worry about his crying.



Anyway, I didn't say that I didn't love your Daddy, I said I didn't know him. He's nothing like my Daddy, trust me, I'd know. Daddy and I are like one. We're like you and Malachi, but closer. We could even be the same person. If Daddy and Daddy were the same, then I'd feel about him like I do about Daddy. I'd know him, and understand him, and he'd know me too. I've never ever been awkward with Daddy, we just know each other.

I don't think he'll come out with me again. I already told him to throw in the towel, and I think in his own way he told me to do the same. Did you know he isn't the man from the bed time stories Daddy tells us? He said so, and, well if he's not the guy from the bedtime stories, the guy Blue is always rambling about and worshiping, then I really don't know who he is. At least when I thought he was the Rich from the fairy tales I felt like I knew something. Now I don't know anything except that he's growly, and easily frustrated.



We still feel bad that he cries, but we don't know what else to do. I don't think he's used to talking to someone like me. Daddy taught me to be blunt and honest, and always say what I want when I want without thinking about it. Mostly because when he was younger he couldn't, and he wanted me to do and have everything he didn't. But your daddy doesn't know alot about that part of my Daddy, and it makes him not know me. All he knows is that I'm skeptical about him, and that I like him second best, but he doesn't do much to change that. I don't even know if he wants to change it, since he said only Daddy was great, and he was just plain.



Don't know what to do,

P.S. Malachi hits like a girl. It hurts like hell, so he must be a lesbian too.

Dear Beth-Beth,



I tried dating Mr. Williams. I usually have much success dating other people, so I thought it was worth a shot. Lots of times I take people from school on dates, and even if we don't magically fall in love, we at least become friends. It didn't work with your daddy though. It was just weird, though there were small breaks in time where we could hold a conversation. He still claims to like me, though I still don't know why. Everyone who saw us was immediately jealous or attracted. You know how your daddy brings them in like flies. We ran into a little trouble in one town, but it wasn't too bad. Just straight weirdo's. No offense, I know you like Malachi and that technically makes you straight.... but technically.. you're a girl, and you love your identical twin who could pass for a girl... you could be a lesbian. Anyway.. I've rambled enough.
