Nope, never been hypnotized.
But I do love the movie The Great Hypnotist!

And thanks, kind of a remake (different backgrounds) of an already-made Roman avatar I had from an older DevMeat.
I like yours, I was thinking about making one similar, but I lost internet connection at the time, and then zOMG! almost didn't let me sign back in, so I decided not to change into an avatar similar to yours. XD

I've read the comic strips before. I used to always want to see my parent's newspapers for the comics section. I liked Garfield, For Better or For Worse, The Far Side and Beetle Bailey. I actually had some Garfield books. I'm not sure if i still do. They may be in storage, or got ruined at some point and had to be thrown away.

I'm glad to hear you have been able to treat your stomach issues. That can be so frustrating to deal with.

It was for the Masquerade theme, but you're sort of close!

Hypnosis yes, but not a ghost.
I thought, "What if a person (under hypnosis) imagined their hypnotist as someone completely different than who they are in real life?"
I imagined, if this person represented the hypnotist (to the person under hypnosis) maybe they (the hypnotized person) feel more empowered to know he's there to help with their problems.
Seemed too interesting not to go with that thought! XD

Also, if you have not watched a movie called The Great Hypnotist (it's a Chinese film from about 10+ years ago) I always recommend that movie to anyone who likes mind-teasing shows!
I sort of had that movie in mind while also thinking about Dream of the Endless from a comic book series.
The Great Hypnotist - Hypnotist mask and the ability to hypnotize people
Dream of the Endless - His appearance changes depending on who views him (he changes appearances more in the The Sandman comics than in the TV series The Sandman.)

Yes, we have birds, year-round! The cardinals, sparrows, mourning doves, gold finches and house finches are most common. We also have a pretty vocal Carolina Wren who likes to scold people and animals who nests somewhere nearby.

I have been trying to read more. I have been reading a number of Webtoons lately. I enjoy graphic novels a lot.

How have you been? Have you been able to treat your stomach issues?

Yes, i plan to monitor myself and see how I feel when that six week mark comes around. This time healing seems to be slower, but my body probably expended a lot of energy healing from the first one, so this second surgery is harder on my body's depleted resources. I do feel like I am healing and making progress, though!

Nope, I can eat whatever i feel like. Even though a piece of my liver got removed, it isn't directly connected to my digestive system so my only problem with eating was during the first week when my stomach expanded with food and pressed on the newly injured end of the liver that sat behind it. Happily, that faded away and I can't feel that end of my liver any longer.

Thanks. ^_^ I plan to do so. Sometimes, I am a perfectionist with these avatars and need to force myself to step back and relax.
