No the number one selling game of all time is the Legend of Zelda Series.

Also G4 has said they love Half Life more than Halo thats why Half Life always gets Game of the Year and Best FPS.

anyways heres the reasons why Half Life beats out Halo (same reasons I gave Soegekie)











No Halo doesn't destroy it.







Because Half Life has a more engaging Story.







Halo's story became so freaking predictable that it began to suck.







Half Life has an awesome story it's impossible to predict whats gonna happen.







Not to mention the Graphics system is so much better hell Half Life 2 before it got upgrades was still better than Halo due to the Source systems power compared to the Havok System.















Also Halo is extremely short.







The Half life games are by far way longer.







Not to mention the online games for Half Life ... Counter Strike Source, Team Fortress 2, and Half Life 2 Deathmatch have received higher praise then Halo's tired multiplayer.







With Half Life you have things like the Hammer Editor along with the third party mod Garry's mod.







Hammer allows for all sorts of new game modes to be made along with weapons.







Garry's mod is even better due to the downloadable content available on it's site, Garry's mod Ten cost 10 dollars after which you can use everything for free.















Halo's only form of innovation was duel wielding , new guns , and some new vehicles after that its the same damn game over and over.







With Each New Half Life game they change something completely







Here's the list.







Half Life the original- Is what it is set the standard for FPS today with its horror setting and fast on the fly thinking.







Half Life2- Brand New Source engine, Gravity Gun, introduction of a realistic Physics engine, Most Realistic Humans on level with movies they had all the attitiude and facial expression of a real person which the likes have just only been sen in Heavenly sword







Half Life 2 Episode 1- More advanced and finished Source engine with more realistic texture, Environment where more urban setting.







Half Life 2 Episode 2 (Orange Box)- Open outdoor Locals where used with more than one way to reach an objective to open up playing styles more, The Shading and Texturing is upgraded making it better than any of the more advanced 7th generation games.















Here's Halo's improvements and mistakes I saw







Halo 1- Good all around game which I loved it's a classic takes a lot from Half Life







Halo 2- Improved Graphics, Duel Wielding , play as Arbiter, play online but a really crappy cliff hanger ending which just didn't work it left you with no sense of accomplishment.







Halo 3- Really good graphics (not on par with Half Life 2 the humans where ugly), Some new guns and vehicles, achievements with xbox live, 4 player co op,







problems though the humans where really ugly , The Enemies where REALLY stupid, The Story was predictable as well as extremely short, I wasn't satisfied.















So there's my arguement.

Halo is no where near Half Life everytime awards are given out Half Life always beats out Halo.

Half Life is such a better series

The Second game is longer than Halo 1 2 and 3

and then there is Episode 1 and 2 which are so awesome.

I Like Halo but it is no where near as good as the Half Life series.

Compared to Underoath and Thrice which are both awesome bands

I just Got Alchemy Index Vol1 and 2 for Thrice which just came out its amazing
