I found your profile through the person who commented abour red heads. I seen that she was selling an angelic camisole in the marketplace so I checked out her profile and found you commenting in it.



I just wanted to mention something about red heads:



I'm a red head (naturally) and yes, we are a rare find lol. "Approximately 1% to 2% of the human population has red hair"-wikipedia. I was always teased in school about my red hair, but at the same time a lot of people admired it. My red hair is actually quite different from most red heads. It's an auburn color that is pin straight and I have dark brown eyes, and very little freckles to go with it.



I have 2 other brothers with red hair too, but theirs is an orange color and they have blue eyes and lots of freckles.



Anyway, I have no idea why I'm commenting about this, I guess I just thought the topic was interesting lol ^o^'

Indeed. Despite the stereotyping, I have noticed that my red-haired friends can have a temper, though one is very passive. I've also noticed they will fight more fervently than others. Not necessarily with fists, but whenever someone they know gets picked on or bullied, they're the first to defend those friends, even if they get more trouble out of it than most would deem "worth it". I admire them for that, as I'm that way, too.

*Nods* I understand that. I was referring more to the "rare" part, but I've always found my red-headed friends to be more fun to hang around anyway. Probably why my character wound up being a red-head, since I admire those friends of mine so much.

Sorry to be so random, but I saw your posts in the ED in the thread about redheaded bullying. Firstly, I must agree with much of what you said, as I have friends with what I call "Fox Red" hair (Hence why we call one of them Foxy), and I spent part of my life being a redhead as well. I've seen the way redheads are treated, even in some of the most tolerant places in the U.S.

Mostly, I stopped by to comment that I found the statement about your grandmother to be quite hilarious, as it reminds me much of my own (brunette) grandmother, just minus the violent part. ^.^

And as to another comment "We're the rarest, so we're like rare gems, we're probably the hottest "after hours", and so on." I couldn't agree more. Even if the rarity is what causes the other traits... there should be more redheads around. They make the best friends to hang out with. ^.^
