uhh, you can start it with him getting completely fed up & calling her telling her he's going to leave, or showing up at her house saying he's going to leave. etcetc.
& then she could be like.

uh..
what about one person is having like, major problems at home or something; & just decides to get away , with their best friend who they see as more of a friend.
'cause their friend says wherever they go, they'll go with.
(if that makes sense.)
& then it could develop into somethin' more. ~
