I suppose it is. My dreams are often the kind of things you'd see in movies, they're very precious because I have an extraordinary imagination, and it run me off to other worlds when I sleep since my subconscious knows how much I dislike this one. I keep a journal of dreams and try to remember to write them down so I can re-visit them later, especially since some could be used to write short stories, while others could inspire novels. I love my brain. Of course, on the flip side, some could inspire horror stories, my dreams vary all across the genres.

Eek, it's never fun to dream of someone you care for dying. That happened to me last week, I dreampt that my girlfriend's sister died. -shudder- I think the dream I remember most vividly though is the one where my mom and I were in a fire and the shattered window glass had cut her feet so bad that she couldn't walk, and she was crying and telling me to go, to save myself, only I couldn't leave my mom behind, so I had one hand under her arm and the other wrapped around her, and every step for her was agony and she screamed and I had to try to pull us both to the window to escape all the while the flames rising and my skin blistering....horrid. The image of her face and the sound of her cries are etched into my brain.
