good post. alas, i come from another time, when BBS's were king, (used to run one), and am here to guide my kid,(hopefully).

But in the old days, all computer chat had a basic rule. DON'T cross 2 dimensional with 3 dimensional. In here (any internet chat site), you can be whoever ya want to be. superman/woman etc. everyone wants to be cool and accepted, and yes there are those who abuse it. Good to hear she kicked a$$ on the wimp. I don't hide my age, (tho it would be nice sometimes.. wishful thinking), and am willing to talk to anyone who wishes to talk. You have all heard the stuff.. be aware of everything.. LISTEN TO YOUR PARENTS. they are just looking after your safety, and worry about you. granted you will go thru the same when you are in their place.

Enjoy life and carry a big stick.. just in case
