At the fair? It seems like each year we do or see something new. 3nodding This year we finally saw live horse racing, climbed up and slid down the giant slide, and I had a mild panic attack on the ferris wheel because the cart has no restraints and my bebe and I sat on the same side which made it lean back and I just felt like I was going to slide out and literally drop dead. crying Of all the rides I'll get on the ferris wheel had me hanging on for my life. rofl At the end of the night there was a drone show, another first time experience, and it was honestly impressive, I recommend seeing one if you haven't yet. blaugh

Food was delicious as always, this year we went to a legit BBQ joint on the fairgrounds and got a gyro instead of buying one from one of the many food stands. Both gyros are amazing but we both agreed the BBQ stand had better texture, sauce, and bread. emotion_drool

Next weekend is the renfaire and I'm both happy and scared we get paid before going to that. xd

As much as the world lets me be one. ^^ Tldr: After a long long week at work I had a lot of fun blowing players away last night and even made friends. whee

Yesterday was fun. X3 I played my a** off on Doom online and (I think) won every match but the cool part was making two new friends. The first one was kinda miffed at my play style because I spammed the best weapons for his and his partners characters. Kinda cheap on my part but effective, just ask anyone on page one of the leaderboards. I'unno if they were necessarily mad at me though because right after that game they commended me for having 5,000 hours in Doom and I replied with "Team?" We raised hell from there. blaugh

The second friend I made was during the games that followed. When you search for a match the servers will find players for you and then load a lobby that should be based on stats like wins and losses. Sometimes that formula makes for lopsided matches and then even worse, when the match is over and you search for a new one the servers give you the same two players and oftentimes the same map. This happened to an up and coming slayer (Doom guy) yesterday while playing against us and it was kind ugly for them, but they had a sense of humor about it and before the 3rd game they asked if we're the only three people playing and I quickly explained it's servers VS everyone some days, and sent them a friend request. When my first friend left for a bit I played some games with the second dude and we got some more wins before I signed off. 3nodding
