For further information. When I was refering to alchemy perviously I wasn't refering to the one in FMA but the ones used in the New Enlightment era. Furthermore there was information used in FMA that are based on real facts. Such as the flamel (the snake entangled in the cross) was really a symbol used by ther French alchemist Nicolas Flamel who also made an apperance in Harry Potter as one of the alchemist/wizards who came up with the theory to make the Philopher's Stone.

And about clasping your hands together to do alchemy wasn't avaible to all alchemists in FMA. Only the ones who failed a human transmutation and saw the gate. I do agree with you that they turn alchemy into a dramatic stage. But is more than a series to entertain and intrest those. Although I have to tell you it was well research such a show. User Image

Well without Alchemy there would be no strudy root to chemists and the basics of magic.

I betcha you didn't know that Newton study Alchemy and it was one of the reasons that he came up with his first law. User Image
