It will explicate, in Borges fashion, a key aspect of his writing: metafiction. At that point you may go in any direction you like. In some ways, the Parables are the easiest to grasp, since they are short, single concept writings. The Essays will explain some ideas that pop up in the Fictions, so no matter what order you read them in, try to make connections between the ideas. Remember that you'll be discussing these selections on the Valley AP English Discussion Forums. Get registered on the forums as soon as possible--the guidelines for posting are there. Yep I finished the first book... it wasn't too bad... but it was easier to read while outside where there are less distractions.... or in a car... I read most of it on the beach and then I finished it on the car ride home...
I will email you the websight and password... I don't want to give it over a profile coment... and I have to get it off of my mom's email >W< so if I forget to email it I'll bring the info when we hang out^^
