You do know that 'ring around the posey' is a song about the black plague. eh?

Ring around the rosey(develop red rings on your skin...)
pockets full of posey(myth that placing poseys in your pocket would cure/ward off plague)
ashes ashes(burnt the dead so as not to have disease ridden corpses chillin about)
we all fall down(this part...relates to the massive number of people who died from said plague)
