Oh, I wonder why too. Maybe the people who fired him realized how much of a jackass he is? But it wasn't just him, it was a lot of other teachers. Even I think her name was Mrs. Battle, I liked her, she was cool.

Probably. I wish for books like that, the author would just shorten it up to about a chapter and it be like.. Ellen's mom is in the hospital, her dad is evil, her mom dies, she goes to live with this person, she goes to live with that person, then eventually she gets happy and THE END. Then the reader would be so happy because the author just saved the reader a lot of time, lolz.

If he did I never saw it or they didn't put it in the movie. But he was more of an abusive drunk who sat around doing nothing even though his wife just got home from the hospital, and I'm pretty sure Ellen was afraid of him. But she ended up living with her teacher, then she had to live with this b***h of a family member then we quit watching it.

We watched part of Ellen Foster the movie in Mr. Hunsicker's class, it was weird, but sad.

The Black Pearl wasn't as bad as A Separate Peace, but they're both terrible reads in my opinion. I didn't even get past the second chapter in a separate peace because it was soooo boring. I guess they make it harder because they want to make us smarter, but I don't see how reading dumbass books like they're making us read, makes us smarter. If anything it's going to make us loose our intelligence because the books are just that terrible. I'm pretty sure they know you don't care, but I don't think they care that we don't care. They just make us do s**t like this because they have no life and they're jealous that the kids they teach have lives and they don't, so they give us stupid s**t like this to try to take away our lives.
