I need you to imagine this.
Your dog, Max, is your best friend.
When you are sad, he cheers you up.
He makes you and your friends laugh.
He is in all of the family photos.
Max means the world to you.

Another normal day.
You sit in class.
The day drags on.
You comment on your friends new, expensive coat...

"whoa! nice coat, macy!"
"thanks! Got it yesterday! It was 200 bucks!"
"200 bucks? whoa."

"is it real animal fur?"
"uh-huh!! thats why its expensive"

You go home, and do research on her coat.
You find that it has been made from a tiger.
A rare tiger, going extinct.
Almost none left.
They were beaten with metal rods
and thrown against the ground.
They were babies.

You go to feed your dog, Max.
He is not home.
You call for him.
There is no reply.
You search--
but again, no results.

He was stolen.
He was taken away.
To a factory in the city.
He was put in a cage crammed and overflowing
with domesticated dogs and cats.
He was taken by the scruff of his neck.
He was carried out of the cage.
He was held on to by his legs,
and thrown onto the ground.
Again.
Again.
He is not dead.
He is half alive.
He is beaten with a heavy rod
the bones crushed in his body.
Again.
Again.
Not dead- not yet.
Still in pain, huge huge pain.
He is hung by his legs
upside down, the rope burning into his flesh
a knife in a hand
slides across his neck
the skin is taken
and pulled upward
blood
pain
again
not dead
skinned alive
then thrown into another cage

what did he do wrong?
why cannot he just DIE?
will he see his family again?
why..?

This is happening in china
and other places
domesticated and wild animals
stolen
skinned
beaten

But we can, and will stop this!!!!
