I know, it's SO mean... Like the students lose either way. Either we pay higher tuition or get our holidays taken away. sad
LMAO!! xd EZ?! *Shakes* TA's are the actual teachers' (professors') assistants (like helpers). They only work like 10 hours a week! x-x
They complain that they don't have job security (because they have to re-apply every school year) and all this stuff. -.-;
They get paid WAY above average for what they do... And they want more. Pisses me off~! gonk
... Oh, well. All I can do is hope it doesn't go on for more than 2 weeks. ><; *Huggie*~ ; - ; <3

They want a list of things, but yeah, increased salaries is one of them. ^^;
Thing is, if they get their increase, we have to pay higher tuition (and it's high enough, sheesh).
They want like 30% increase (they're mad I know) and the Uni offered 9% and they declined them. -.-;
Ugh, they're being greedy... Seriously. The economy here is being affected because of the US' going down and they're asking for raises... WTH? >XO

I already did my Math mid-term exam, hehe, got 80% (and it's Discrete) go me! ^O^
I KNOW!! As much as I want a break, nooo way, not the Xmas holidays! O_O

They've been on strike since Thursday. And as far as the news goes, they haven't even sat down to discuss anything yet. o-o; So, it might go on for a while longer.
In 2001 there was also a TA strike (but it lasted 3 months). That was in the second semester so they had to extend classes into our 4-month-summer! T^T
We're in first semester right now, so it'll be bye-bye Xmas holidays~ ; - ;

I'm soo not using my time wisely (much). Ahaha, I've only worked on one assignment so far, I have like 1 other one and notes and readings to do (and Math homework). xd
