The bitter taste of coffee lingered in the man's mouth. He slid his tongue across clenched teeth and listened indisputably to the Frenchman comment on the coffee and then in turn to his second choice.

Good choice.

Of course it was was a bloody good choice, I was the one that made it..

The arrogant thought seethed right through the chestnut haired man as he forced an elbow on the table and rested his chin on his palm. Any dignified or regal grace that the military man had once held all but vanished as he waited with ebbing irritation for his order to arrive. Upon the decorate arrival of the small plate, he quirked a brow and inspected each delicately cut shaped. He lifted his chin just slightly from his palm as he turned a questioning gaze to his waiter,

" What's this?"

Evenings Desires

A doubtful glance is resisted as he hears the attractive clink of porcelain tap against the table. He looks sharply to the awaiting cup, which was steaming with the pitch black liquid inside. He gave a rough sniff and leaned forward to take the cup into a large callused hand. Bringing it up to his lips, he let it hoover there and gave it a hesitant whiff. Passing such uncalled for precaution he took the first sip and drowned it half down. The stubble faced man opened his eyes in dull surprise and then looked back to the Frenchman.

"Decent."

He placed the cup back on its saucer, almost as if he was bored with it instantly.

"Toffee and biscuits."


If this rose any brows he'd retort almost defensively "You can't assume, Aye drink this with nothin' else. Would yew?"

That's good to hear. I know that many nations are really taking in the cold in the worst possible way...but I'm glad to hear you're doing well now with it.~

I-I'm fine with it, thank you. ^ ^ ~ I love freezing temperatures, so I really don't mind it.~

-He feels the prescence of the waiter before he hears the light tenor of his voice. Then without opening his eyes of acknowledging the staff he grumbles out a reply,-

Coffee. Black.

-The man with a stubble suddenly glances up sharply to the other man.-
