Oswald couldn't help but smile contentedly in her direction when she had shown her interest, cold grey eyes glowing in such a fashion as her own, "--I've been trying to keep my beak clean... you see, I've made peace with the fact that I've retired from nights spent in Arkham, to the rest of the world I have reformed... too folks like you and me, we know better..." he added with a small smirk. Cobblepot had been running a game under the table all the while, cornering the black market and insuring that all of it went under him... in it, he knew he would have made enemies, both assuredly with Harvey and Roman... not that he much cared... not too much anyways... not if they wanted their cut in on the action. Removing his Top Hat, smoothing out black hair with its slight graying temples, he would have returned it, the gentle glow of the cherry reflecting back along the gold rim of his monocle. What did he want? She had asked, "--Everything..." he cooed, a smile twisting onto his pale features, "--Kidding aside..." or was he? "--Particularly, I desire the Emerald crested Falcon..." more reasons then one, but not enough to be explained... as much as he adored the Cat, as much as he found her to be intoxicating, Momma didn't raise no fool, as they say... and he only trusted her as far as he could throw her, "--We'll take my car?" sure they could have ran across the city like a Bat out of hell... but why ride in anything else but style? Leading her just down the street it wouldn't have been long before a sleek Black and creme Roles Royce slipped into view, at its crest on the hood, a cleverly appropriate Penguin ornament. Pulling aside, the Birds driver hurried to get the door for them, allowing the pair to slip inside before Oswald gave him directions... "--So..." the bird began when they were alone, "--The Bat... how exactly does that work? Criminal... Hero... doesn't seem functional or healthy..." he chirped, casual, indifferent, as he reached for the bottle of champagne... swearing to have a Martini when they reached the Lounge...

He slowly allowed the hammer to click back into a safe position before re-holstering the weapon. The knife was sheathed, his hands lowered to his sides. "I may be on errands of my own, or I may be just a little hesitant to immediately trust voices from the shadows. Can you blame me?" His head tilted to the side slightly, white lenses focusing on her. "Then again, I suppose you're a better choice than one of the caped crusaders to come calling, at least visually speaking."

As her voice issued from behind him, he pivoted immediately, weight shifting to hover over his left hip. Both hands came up simultaneously, within the right, a very unfriendly looking pistol, the business end pointed just above her leather-clad heart. Within the left, a wickedly curved blade, his arm bent so as to rest his right elbow on the back of his hand, the blade held in a reverse grip, the business end also pointed at her. When he spoke his voice was distorted by the helmet, devices within lending it a near mechanical snarl. "You know, it's dangerous to sneak up on people in this town. I thought someone like you would have realized that by now, Kitten. What do you want?"

How could he not? The Penguin, knew what hidden pleasures the Cat preferred to place herself in, how could she ever deny the thrill of the hunt? Striking a match, cloaking the flame from being doused in the wind, for a moment the brilliant ocher shade danced over distinguished features, illuminating them. Knowing her to be lurking close by, as if perhaps he was extra sensory, the stout male, dressed to the nines, spoke aloud, "--I have ideas of course, luxurious displays at the Gotham city museum, both of fowl and feline, followed by perhaps... royalty treatment at my Lounge?" As the cherry glowed red in the dusky passing light, while the evening approached steadily, he would inhale deeply, and then release, a grey puff lingering before dispersing out. While Oswald was hardly considered 'handsome' or normal for that matter by appearance, where he lacked in looks he made up for being innovative and crafty, his connections boundless, deemed the wealthiest man in Gotham... well... right there beside Bruce Wayne of course, "--Your thoughts?" he quipped, blowing out the match and tossing it away...

Nightwing kind of was used to the flirty antics of Catwoman. He never actually took any of it seriously no paid much attention to it. Even as Robin, seeing her act the way she did to Batman whenever they had crossed paths on missions or patrols. He sort of just gotten used to it manually. Besides wasn't he like, half her age? "I guess you're right. I am pretty charming if I may say so myself." d**k jokingly responded. "Have you heard about the crime rate lately? It's been going down."

d**k noticed Selina's not liking of the idea of being compared to Bruce. He could understand why, but was only kidding. Still he was one to respect other's wishes and saw to it not to make the comparison again. "You're right, I didn't take into account how dark and broody you'd have to be to be compared to him. Sorry, still why are you here? And not, you know doing what you do?" Grayson wondered. Most times he had seen Catwoman robbing for jewels. Didn't seem like too much herself to him, of course he could just been reading too much into the situation.

d**k saw there was no real reasoning in trying to be formal. Both knew the other's secret only difference, Selina probably if put in that position would be more open with revealing her identity. Raising his arms in defense playfully Nightwing began, "Can't a guy in spandex spend his night roaming the slums of his neighborhood? Jeez, when'd you become such the shut in cold type. That's usually his job." d**k responded before drawing his arms back down to their sides and focusing in on the night-beam that was given off being in the Heart of Gotham. Bruce chose to live in the manor, mostly because he had to keep his image, but he chose to live in the element and learn.
