He let her forehead touch his as she guided him. She was here seeking forgiveness for what had happened and not realizing how he felt about her. This woman was truly remarkable but was to busy training Oliver to notice how Slade felt about her. Never holding it against her even until the end. The day he died on the submarine. His only regret was not telling her sooner. He wrapped his arms around her letting her cry on his chest."I was never angry. I never blamed you. The fault was my own."he said as his voice broke a bit with tears in his own eyes. He held onto her tightly.

He took his mask off and was not really amazed that she was alive. She's a fighter after all. She is skilled enough to match him for every move he can think of. That was saying something. But the fact that she was here was a bit troublesome he did not know if it was a business or a quaint reunion"It has. Been a few years." he said jokingly toowards her looking at the bow shifting his eyes back to her eyes.

He looked around hearing a noise but seeing no one but knowing who could sneak up on him like that. An old friend. Someone he had feelings for. Someone he has feelings for. A person he'd never forget.."Shado. Is that you?"he said as he looked in the sky."And you're not even going to say hello?". He didn't know what else to say to this woman besides he loves her.
