You need be sitting down and turned around, just like your avatar is now. It doesn't matter if you have clothes on or not and the thread has to be 15 posts long with everyone turned around and sitting.

Oh it's okay. For the Nudist Colony you just need to have only the basic undies on. For the Prayer Circle you just need to be sitting and turned around. And Clambake, a lady of course wink
I just tried to get all three done at the same time. Hope that clears anything up and thanks again!

There are 5 basic vowel sounds. a i u e o. The pronunciation of those are a = ah, i = ee, u = oo, e = ay, o = oh. the i and e letters always ******** up beginners. It helps to remember words with the letters you're familiar with. Like Sushi, for i. and Sake (the alcohol) for e. In addition to those 5 vowel sounds, you can add consonants, like the next row is the k row, ka ki ku ke ko, and so on. Grouped by the 5 vowel sounds, different consonants make up the rest of the alphabet. Spelling is easy. By "spelling" a word, you've pronounced it. Sushi is just the letters Su and Shi.

I don't get on gaia much either. But part of that is because there is little reason for me to. My chatting in japanese thread that i've not used a lot recently is:

On the first post, i've got some stuff. As for starting out... you want some simple vocab, and you also wanna start learning Hiragana. Hiragana is the primary alphabet, 46 unique characters that are pronounced the way they are spoken.
