Did you know that Gaia has an application on facebook? I added it and invited you to add it. If you accept my invitation, I get gold, and you get gold for adding the app. I got on your account and tried to add it for you, haha, but your requests page isn't loading right and it woldn't let me accept or decline any of your invitations. Well, I'd love to make it sound like I saved the day, but the fire just kinda extinguished itself within a short period of time. I didn't do anything except stand there and hope that it wouldn't get worse. I had the phone ready in case it did, so if I had had to I could have called someone better able to handle the situation.

Yeah, but we all know how hard it is to get things accomplished around here. Nothing gets paid attention. Well, nothing important, anyway. I'm just sitting here hoping that the house doesn't catch on fire. That's always been one of my biggest fears. Well, you know, me and fire...

I don't know if I ever told you this story or not, but the house actually did catch on fire once. Apparently, the outlet that the microwave is plugged into and the one the washer is plugged into draw power from the same place, and I was using both at the same time. I was cooking macaroni, which takes a while, and apparently there was some sort of power overload and flames came out of both outlets. It was a small fire, but it was kinda in two rooms since the kitchen and laundry room share that wall. It was weird. I was home alone and freaked out. I tried to remain relatively calm, which was hard due to the situation, and I may have burst into tears...But I kept everything under control and the fire went out. Go me.

There is something wrong with the ceiling fans/lights in the kitchen. Yesterday (and twice before) they wouldn't turn on, and now I can't get them to turn off. It's weird because all the other electric things in the kitchen (refrigerator, stove, microwave, all the outlets) work fine. I have no idea what's going on, but having the lights on when it's not absolutely necessary drives me crazy. I thought about removing all the bulbs, but the blind lady upstairs would kill me and I'm not prepared to die. On that note, I need a vacation. It would be wonderful to get away for a while.
