Hahaha. My grandma insisted that we handmade the crust, which took FOREVER. Then her stupid cookbook didn't give us the proper cooking times where we needed them, then they gave us the wrong temps, the stove programmed itself wrong, burned one of my pies, we ran out to get more ingredients, and it's just been a bad day. The pie that burned was my blueberry pie, which I always made for my Pappy, and since be passed away two months ago, I broke down because, damnit, that was PAPPY's pie. And everyone was a doll and tried to scrape off the burned bits to help, but I ended up sobbing. My Oma brought me to Market Basket to get more blueberries and the pie crusts that I ALWAYS used, and the pies came out perfect. Ahhh =]
