Yea, I agree there. I mean if I had someone's stuff in my house, needed the space cause I was getting a roomie, and had to get rid of the stuff, I'd call. Either to let them know the situation and what they want to do, or just to be sure it's cool I toss/donate it if I thought they had at some point said I could. Never hurts to ask those kinds of things often, promise the other person won't be mad at ya. rolleyes

Apparently it was a miscommunication thing. They thought they'd told me they needed me to clear the space out. And they thought last time I was there and grabbed stuff that that was all I was taking and the rest was whatever they wanted to do with it.

September was me visiting Dad for his b-day and getting my Halloween stuff, and figuring since I was there I'd grab a few more things even though I still didn't have a spot to put it. I condensed everything I couldn't take but didn't want to toss on one side of the closet, stuff I didn't care about on the other, and told Dad he could do whatever with the stuff on that side of the closet...

Bah. Well Dad called me at work and was explained the miscommunication and was apologizing every other word, so that chilled me down a little at least.

My step mom just sent me a text.

"I just shipped two boxes to you via UPS. They will arrive on Wednesday. We threw out or donated the rest of what you left. Aunt Marilyn has moved in now, and she's so happy to have the space. Hope you have a great day!"

I mean that was my freakin' stuff! I know I don't live there anymore, but I left it behind in good faith that it would be safe and I wouldn't lose it like I would here, cause I don't have any room. It's hard to fit what was two rooms of things into one room. And she didn't even freakin' tell me that she needed the space and wanted to get rid of it. She could have said something while I was there after the Hawaii trip. Hell, she could have said something a few days ago and I could have used my Saturday and Sunday to come up there and get it. I mean some of that stuff was really sentimental to me!!
