Who wants to be extraordinary
Living my dreams through video games and roleplaying, I am the child who is called a nerd, even by her own parents. Fanfiction writing is one of my few crafts, and I would give anything to be a serious writer when I grow up.
Then again, I'm never going to grow up.
Oh no, I'll be that kid at the arcade several decades from now. I'm going to be the one screaming "Boom, headshot!" as I pwn a n00b online, even on my deathbed.
I've saved the world many times, and I've attempted to destroy it as well. I've wielded swords, guns, staffs, bows and arrows, and even the magic from my own inner resivoir of mana. I've died many times, and always hit 'Continue'. No level 42 Night Elf can keep me down, nor can a mad scientist, a Heartless or a silver-haired psychopath with a long katana. Throw a controller at me, and watch me do great things.
I wish I could be like that in real life. I want to bend the laws of nature and cast Fire from my own two hands, I want to fly an aircraft high into the air and feel the wind on my face I want to be someone's hero.
But if an NPC can call me thier hero, it's worth the hours spent levelling up.
