When ou see someones tank glow and say booty grab on it you click the tank.
It opens another screen in a separate window and when the fish start dropping coins you move your avatar at the bottom of the tank by moving your mouse to try and get as many coins as possible before teh time runs out.

Well, lucky for you I'm here. xD
I believe the secret retreat would be a good investment, however, if you're not completely sure about it then you should wait until it's first evolution. That way you can get a feel of the path the EI is taking.
There is not much else that is worth investing in. Some MCs like the scarlet rose, silver laurels and nitemare sashes I suppose. ^^
