It's a ton of fun, when you're in the mood. I went riding today for an hour, and... I wasn't feeling it. I wasn't paying attention to the road, I wasn't using a good front brake/back brake combination, and I almost wrecked like four times.

And I ******** ran over a turtle. T_____________T. I feel so bad about that. I didn't see it, it just appeared out of nowhere. And all I hear was CRACKSQUISH.

Oh, relacing was no work for me. I collect shoelaces out of a hobby, actually... I have around 45 pairs right now, and when I'm in school I generally relace them everyday.

At least I did. Now I'll be wearing my motorcycle boot to class every day.

It's pretty bad. I shared a cell with three people that night, one was a pot smoker who was violent and had to be cuffed and shackled like no tomorrow. One was an eight year old boy who ran away and tried to commit suicide (What? D: I felt so bad for that kid. He was like, "I just wanna die you know? There's nothing left in life for me" wink , and one was a 20 year old who came in drunk because there was a warrant out on his arrest for grand theft. They were all scary as hell in their own right, but when put into a 10x6 room together with nothing to sleep on but cold benches and a gross floor, it made for probably one of the worst nights of my life. Plus the entire school pretty much was in awe (I was pretty popular, both negatively and positively, with almost everyone, so everyone knew about it the next day, including the teachers).

It doesn't help that they take your shoelaces so you don't kill yourself. So you're spending the whole night with your shoes falling off your feet.

And aw, thanks. I feel our relationship is really strong, and we're kind of lucky only being a thousand miles apart. I see these intercontinental LDRs and I'm so happy that's not me. Her parents, even after my extreme mistrust of them (they felt it, too) seem to like me too, so that's good. She's definitely the one, we connect on every level, both emotionally and physically. I'll make her Mrs. Jones sometime soon, I know. 3nodding

I'm sorry. I really feel bad for people with parent issues. I've always been brought up thinking that parents are the first line of defense against a child having a terrible life. Installing values, love, nurturing... feeding, you know, the basics. I have pretty good parents overall, I dunno where I'd be without them.

I have a lot of mental problems, including some anger management and addiction habits. Both my parents are drug addicts, my dad to pot and alcohol and my mom to pain pills and cigarettes, and that doesn't help anything (Though, as far as parents go, especially when compared to your situation, it's defintely not bad at all). I've been to two physcologists who both belittled me and ended up telling me that my problems (mostly my self-worth) were too severe for them to handle, and recommended me to some overpriced therapist. When I was seventeen, I was dating a 14 year old (senior/freshmen high school thing, happens all the time right?), and one day her father was checking her e-mails remotely from his computer (secretly of course) and saw she mentioned I gave her a hickey. He called the cops on me for lewd and lascivious molestation on a minor, and was hell bent on getting me on a sexual predators list. I only ever kissed her, nothing more. I did the whole ordeal, got read my rights, taken from my house in handcuffs and into a cop car, and spent the night in a jail cell. House arrest for a week, before my lawyer cut a deal with the judge to just... let the case sit on his desk for three years until the statute of limitations is up. He told me if I ever got into any sort of trouble with the cops until that happened, they'd tack that on and I'd be a sex offender for life. That pretty much destroyed my trust for anyone-- I still have some moments where I don't trust my girlfriend of 18 months, and especially not her father. I almost didn't go up to see my girlfriend because I was sure her father was going to call the cops on me.

I also fight issues with cutting and such, but that's been under control for a while.

So, though I'm not officially engaged and underaged (We're sort of engaged to be engaged, until we're old enough that we can tell our parents without them completely freaking out), I do enjoy your thread. I also would like to compliment you on some pretty good bands in your list of bands you like, Korpiklaani and Finntroll and Burzum to be exact. So kvlt. I, too, have been through more in my 19 years of life already than most people go through in their entire, and I understand the whole "No bullshit" attitude.
