I think the 4Kids dub left a bad impression on American audiences.
Which is understandable, really, though quite unfortunate.

It is gaining popularity, though! Slowly but surely.
I'm glad. It deserves all the love in the world.

But you knoooow~ and this is probably going to sound very stupid, but... I think everyone is a One Piece fan. They just don't know it yet.
I mean, unless you have no heart, you have to like One Piece, right?

Yes, that too! I like it, but it's not much of a pick-up-and-play sorta thing.

Oh, I love the FUNimation dub! It's not perfect, but it's so damn close...
And after the 4Kids dub, I really can't complain about anything FUNi could do, anyway. XD
But, basically, I am in love with it.

What do you think of it?

It's just... a lot of item farming. Which I enjoy because I am a crazy person, but I don't think most people do.
From a more unbiased standpoint, it's not really a good game.
Which doesn't mean it isn't wholly enjoyable to me! Because it totally is.

But, you see... Well. Uh...
I don't think I'm getting my point across well... D:

Ah. Well. I read the manga too, but I don't see the point in watching raws... Not my thing.

No, I haven't seen a speed type fruit, but who knows? there might be one sometime. Likely not, though. I think that's too bland for Oda's taste. Powers are generally a hell of a lot more insane than that.

Aaaaaand, I have one of the Wii games. It's pretty horrible. I mean. Game-wise. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't know the series. Or. Anyone at all, really.
Don't get me wrong! I love it! But. You know... It's actually pretty bad. XD

Speed subs are (often low-quality) subbed episodes that come out shortly after the original episode airs. Low quality would be fine, I just wanna watch it noooow. D:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the skits...it gives you a better chance to interact with the characters and develops them and also it gives you helpful hints on what to do. Seriously. XD

I just wished they were voiced, but I understood why they couldn't voice them. 3nodding

Still, I heard that they're actually making a better effort to voice the skits...sweetness~
