Well, the test was positive. I'm not looking forward to the lecture I'm gonna get tomorrow...

Yes, but I still see a chicken coming first, and all eggs and birds before it hybrids.

How's an egg supposed to survive with no chicken to regulate the temp, or protect it (or not, chickens are retarded), or help it survive in general?

Yeah, that sounds about right.

PS: Which came first, chicken or egg?

Well then what would you call true gameness? I've already gotten into this debate before, but the last guy was damned and determined gameness can only be proven in the pit...

I'm talking more along the lines of a dog slipping and scraping itself, which most dogs cannot simply deal with, whereas an APBT would simply get back up and pull again.

Hence why I said they won't give up no matter what. I think that's why weight pulling is a good test for gameness. A dog can easily hurt himself, whether by pulling too much, or slipping off the track, or pulling the sled too fast, etc.

I define gameness as a drive to not give up, period. It probably also has a lot to do with loyalty and a drive to please, as a game dog will do anything it thinks pleases it's handler, even if that ends up with a horn/tusk/foot through the dog. I remember a perfect example of gameness as a guy cut off the paws of one of his best bitches and put her in the ring with the bull, just to prove her gameness. Whether or not she caught the bull I don't remember, but she still went after him. And no, I don't think gameness can be proved only in the ring.

Peta-sucks. Doglady just posted it

On what aspect of it? I'd love to have a game dog (or at least I would if I didn't already have 5 dogs...), but I can and do see gameness getting a lot of dogs into trouble as well.

Anywhoo, didja see the meat business cards? They're almost enough to make me hungry...(well, actually I am hungry, but I can't keep anything down, so I'm not hungry...)

Why is it she's too busy paying attention to my typos? It's really not my fault I'm puking my guts out....that kinda thing tends to blow your concentration...

They wouldn't kill them, s**t they probably wouldn't even chase them...besides, I'm having issues building a pen that can keep them in...it's a real b***h digging a ditch.

Wanna help me with Zin's latest post?

Sad thing is, they're not scared of the cat, which means we might have trouble with the predators around here. I've already got bait out for the coyotes (I'm not sure my neighbors appreciate the dead deer stinking up my backyard), but we have no traps for all the little coons and whatnot...I might get some Chinese geese just to try and scare them off.

Methinks a theme song would be a good idea (then again, I'm kinda bored). And since I finally figured out the opening chorus bit for Iron man, my vote goes there.

On an unrelated note, the geese got to see outside for the first time today, and what did they do? Try to get back in...

Too bad Zin probably won't come back. She never likes to come back, but she loves to try and call me out.

La Veuve Zin is at it, trying to tell me a vegetarian diet is utterly sinless, and that there is no such thing as a killing vegetarian, bla bla bla...have fun.

We're not supposed to get anything else til this weekend, but then again we weren't supposed to get anything yesterday, either. Still pisses me off, though. I was only halfway done with the yard.
