THE SHADOWS

They hide in the shadows
waiting, watching, ready to strike
they wait with a great hunger
for a heart of a boy
a boy with no life
and no more reason to live
they stalk there prey
waiting for the oppertunity to strike
they find the boy in a playground
they watch him as he swings
back and fourth, back and fourth
he is unaware that he is being stalked
then when everybody else has left the park
they strike strongly and quickly
the boy fell to the ground
with a neck breaking force
as the shadows finished consuming
the boys heart
it begins a new search for a new heart
it hungers for a heart of a girl
as the shadows begin to dissapear
the boy lies there face down on the ground
this is that day April 5, 2006
the day that the shadows consumed
ME AND MY HEART!!!!!
