*looks up for the first time when he sees the glow and stares at Envy; usually golden optics appearing more distant and dull in color, resting upon large, dark bags, taking the focus point away from his pale skin* You do know what you're doing and getting yourself into, right? I know you're a homunculus, but what you told me about staying off the stones and wanting to become or act more like a human... you won't put yourself in a situation where you may lose your life... at least say that... *stares at him for a moment longer, but when he feels another chill hit his body, he turns to head back for the house, not wanting to further risk anything that could harm his child*

Those kids, all three of them... they need a mother... and there's more people who wouldn't be keen on the idea of your death... *limps back to the door, but tries his best to hide it, practically dragging his feet across the ground*

That's a relief. I know that last time Treats actually attacked she left when Kimbley shined a flashlight at her. We'll just have to stop her before she discovers some way to travel further south, especially with how the weather's going to be changing soon. I know it doesn't affect the temperature and daylight down there as much as it does here, but it's still something to keep in mind. *places a hand on his shoulder where his automail arm was once connected* Hey, you wanna come inside? We'll probably be more comfortable in there.

*frowns, his eyes still turned towards the ground, bangs hiding his expression* Abnormal shadows... damn b***h. *voice still oddly quiet* Do whatever you have to... just keep him safe. The poor kid has to go through much more s**t than anyone, even an adult, should have to live through. And... of course I don't mind you staying in Central... I never wanted you to leave... remember? You know... the guest bedroom's always open... you could... you could stay there if you wanted. Kimbley, Tricks, Tamar, and Inari will all be heading back south... right...?

Sorry you couldn't wha- *shakes his head, knowing that there was most likely a reason for Envy to cut off his sentence, and speaks quietly, his eyes still not meeting the violet optics belonging to the homunculus due to shame* I'm fine... It's... not a big deal... It still hurts to move... it makes sense... I left blood from it... from how he went about it... and it still bled later... I can barely walk now. Roy's right about the seriousness... Not... not a problem...

*walks into the kitchen and stops abruptly after a few steps when he sees the sleeping homunculus* Looks like everyone's just wiped out... even him... *frowns a little* He could've at least gone to the couch or something, those chairs are hard as hell... *leaves the kitchen, walks over to the couch in the other room where a few blankets are folded up, grabs a blanket, and returns to the kitchen with careful steps* He's been through a lot lately too... with all of this... *approaches Envy, trying to both get rid of his limp and make his steps undetectable* ... *whispers* Night I guess Envy... *places the blanket over the sleeping creature, then turns and begins to leave*

No... that's a stupid question. Treats... that's what's been happening. That b***h. Just what does she want from you? Is there something she wants to gain or does she just enjoy torturing you every waking our even when she's not in your presence? It's like... she's actually taken control of your mind since she's always on it...

*remains completely silent, not bothering to see if everyone else is still in the room, his sole attention on the sleeping child* At least... he's finally sleeping...

I can at least check up on him... it's not like it'll hurt anyone and if he is sleeping, I'll make sure not to wake him. They'll be in the nursery, right? I'll just be a few minutes... *pushes in the chair and begins to walk away with a limp that he tries to hide, but has difficulty in doing so from the slight waddle his walk has taken on* Oh, and help yourself to anything in the kitchen if you're hungry or thirsty or anything. I made a chicken dinner last night. You could always heat that up. *shrugs* Or not, doesn't matter. *starts up the stairs and walks to the nursery*
