Kanon sat down at a arm chair and sighed slightly.
"so you did notice it too .I mean the weather... a new storm is coming soon.
and I don't think the Ushiromiya Family will come here...
so at this island are now , you , me, Ange-sama, Gohda-sama, Genji-sama, Dr.Nanjo , Master Kinzo and Kumawasa-sama.
that makes a number of 8.. however for Beatrice's Ritual there are needed 13 people to sacrifice . I wonder if the ushiromiya Family does not come here,
the ritual will not be..."
Kanon stayed silent as he was thinking about it. he watched the clock in the parlour like it would be bad omen. indeed,
the tick of that clock was louder then usual.
"well after all our opponent is a witch, we can't be sure that the ritual will stop only because the family does not come to here.
besides this you and me a furniture. similar to that Stakes. there are 7furniture of the witch. if we would count them to us then that would make a number of 15.
I'm sure Beatrice does not care about everyone beside herself. so she simple could us her furniture to sacrifice. and the ritual take a place as usual.."

he smiled softly as he looked to the maid.
"Nee-san? since when were you here? strange I didn't heard you,
though I hear you actually very fast.
the Butler said as he approached Shannon.
"daijoubu desu ka? did you talk with Ange-sama ?"

Kanon Ushiromiya Butler

Kanon stood beside the door, as he watched over Ange and Nanjo and Kinzo , the Master sat in his study as always , sitting there and playing with cards.
but Kanon knew that wasn't a normal card game, Kinzo often spend his time with occult things and right now it seemed he were just using that tarot cards.
when Kinzo stood up and made a sign to kanon that he wanted to be alone with Ange, Kanon accepted it silently bowed and closed the door
he then decided to continue his work, and first went to the parlour to check if the windows were closed, when he did this he noticed the windows were closed, however when he looked out he saw the sky grew darker.
~"I knew it ..a new storm is coming..
I wonder if the Ushiromiya Family will come here, when the Storm doesn't stops .
maybe it's better if they don't come here when the seagulls don't cry...
demo then I also don't see Jessica-sama.."~
Kanon thought as he stayed there for a little and continued to look outside , forgetting the time and maybe even his work as he watched the darken sky which carried thunder clouds, loudly they announced the thunderstorm ..
~"as I thought it will be heavy to come to this island with a boat by a storm like that...
then the Ushiromiya Family surely won't come. ~"

Kanon blinked, was it that obviously that he didn't liked that witch? he coughed and shook fast his head then bowed .
"iie, I'm not angry, I'm sorry if I made Mi Lady believe that.."
when Kanon was sure Ange would understand a little, he raised and went further ahead to the study of Kinzo till they finally stood before the door .
he knocked gently and waited for someone would open it

Kanon sighed. actually he could tell Ange a lot , about the witch's legend. but instead of it he turned his back to portrait.
"shirenei I don't know gomen nasai..however if the Master has that portrait here I suppose that he knew her in real. so I guess she was once a Human.."
Kanon said but still didn't watch the portrait .

Kanon sighed Ange really looked at the portrait and asked about that thing. but her question " she is real" surprised him and he decided to read aloud what she just had found. but for some reason he didn't had too look at the portrait, it seemed Kanon already knew that words by heart and he started to speak

"At the first twilight, you shall lift up as sacrifice the six chosen by the key.
At the second twilight, the surviving shall tear apart the two who are close.
At the third twilight, the surviving shall praise my honorable name on high.
At the fourth twilight, gouge the head and kill.
At the fifth twilight, gouge the chest and kill.
At the sixth twilight, gouge the belly and kill.
At the seventh twilight, gouge the knee and kill.
At the eight twilight, gouge the leg and kill.
At the ninth twilight, the Witch shall be revived and none shall be left alive.
at the tenth twilight, the journey shall end and you should reach the Golden Land.
The Witch will praise the wise, and should bestow four treasures."
while Kanon spook he accented the word "witch" with slightly anger after he finished to tell that poem" he finally also stared at the portrait but it was no look of admire it was almost like a glare

Kanon refused to answer her question exactly.
"Nothing I just was waiting for Mi Lady to follow me. I apologies if I confused Mi Lady"
Kanon said and tried to hide his grief and continued to walk up the stairs .
when they arrived the corridor they stood now before that portrait of the golden Witch.
but Kanon didn't eyed it , he just looked again to Ange , waiting for a possible question.
because Kanon knew everyone knew about Rokkenjimas "Legend of the Golden Witch"
it was a like ghost story which no one could deny. so Kanon was sure Ange would maybe ask something about that Legend

now Kanon looked down the ground his sad look were covered by his gray black hair now, as he thought , about Jessica, Ange surely was right , Jessica probably would be really happy if Kanon would say that thing he just said to ange to her, but wouldn't that be a lie to Jessica, could he really accomplish such thing ? Kanon declined his imagine how Jessica would surely happy smile in front of him when she would hear that words " that he wasn't a chair or such thing" for Jessica it only would say that he wasn't a furniture, but Kanon knew he was and even if he would say it that way like"I'm not a chair or something like this.." it didn't changed the fact for him that he was furniture, so if he would say such a thing it was for him like deny himself and lying to Jessica, however if Kanon would say "I'm furniture" he wouldn't lie. now that confused Kanon even more and he really doubt what he would say the next time if he would meet Jessica again. staying in silent he walked like a cat without any noise ahead to the stairs then he turned round and eyed Ange again

Now Kanon's emotionless look changed and he almost looked like he was taken aback.
for him it was clear even after all that words Ange just said to him, he knew he was furniture, and there was no way to change this.
no matter how much he would wish, no matter what he would try, it was a fact he was furniture, and never could become a human being.
maybe there was only one thing who could make him a human being and that would be magic. but since Kanon knew also this ways seemed to be closed for him he gave it up to think of sometime getting the change to become a human. but Anges words spoke to Kanon's heart and that was something he couldn't decline.
he had a heart and it felt warm, that probably was only a thing a human had, so Anges words cheered Kanon up from his emotionless state and he smiled even though it was sadly smile.
he didn't planned to say again that he was furniture, even if he still thought so he decided to take that words by ange to his heart and nodded his head.
"thank you Mi Lady . you're right I'm not a chair or something like this..however... in any case I'm servant of the ushiromiya family.. so should we go then to Master Kinzo's Study Mi Lady?" Kanon asked polite and in a calm voice
